Thread: new bh needs help from a vet
HOWEVER all the good bh's that iv ever seen kill jedi have a had an a$$load of food/drink/spice buffs and i was wondering if a vet bh could enlighten me about which buffs to take and in which order?
Any other tips greatly appreciated too
first and most important thing---> go get a full set of armor with min 7500 energy resitance. and get it sliced for AB.
second thing is to have a lot of kinds of foods. i read what they give and buy em randomly...
get yur self a good LLC if u have rifle in yur temp or HSP for pistols.
Use kinetic weapons against recon/PSG users. The Czerka dark Carb or Nym's Slug Thrower are excellent choices in that case.
But most of all, go out, have fun and learn from your mistakes. Analyze weaknesses, take advantage of every opportunity and don't give up, you'll be fine.
AWESOME
So nice to see a newb ask for advise before running out, getting killed and crying. My character is Jedi, ex BH, and I'm so tired of seeing new jedi cry about BHs and new BHs cry about Jedi.
Thanks for showing people how to be smart enough to ask questions.
Ill add my advise. My alt I made a MBH/ Martisan/ and the rest in merchant. My alt was a level 57 BH, and I still killed Jedi. How? Sometimes the most fun can be in being the hunter. I went to the Wookie planet, went on the webweaver trails and when I found my mark I would just sit close to him and his group running a DB macro. After a while Jedi get wise to this, and then it gets even funnier, they get so upset at your presence you wont even have to have a mission and some will log or move on and the group slits up. Grab a mission though, find the jedi grinding and just stay near. Run a DB macro and if he gets incapped then you will DB and if he comes out of Incap you pounce and keep him incapped. This also works very well if the Jedi is full template and in PvP battles, just dont go overt but follow him around. Sooner or later your DB macro will get you the DB and for free, but its more fun to jump in as you get better ![]()
Level 57 MBH templates can be fun, not uber, but fun. And you can make money from being BH and from crafting.
Sorry but the best pistol for a BH to use isnt the scatter pistol... its the featherweight FW5... you can get slightly better stats from it and it has an innate accuracy mod of +15 add to this what your weaponsmith can normally add average is about +17 then a scope... if you can get an old one this is about +50 or the current only ones that drop +15... it doesnt take a genius to see accuracy helps alot vs jedi ![]()
Oh its kinetic damage too ![]()
Oh and as for foods the basic combo that seems to work well is Blob Candy+ Action Regen, Kenali Wafers +Health Regen, Spiced Tea+ Mind Regen
The supplement this with:
Pikkata Pie +Dodge
Elshandru Pica Thundercloud or Vegesparine + Ranged Def or +Melee Defense
Booster Blue +Mind, Action Regens +Health -Health Regen
Parwan Nutricake +Instant use chainable burstrun
Deutrium Pyro or Crispic +Ranged accuracy
Aitha or Caf +Healing Efficiency
Ruby Bliel -Stim Pack reuse timer

one small piece of advise that has nothing to do with equipment or food or buffs.
BE HONORABLE
be gracious in victory and defeat. you just can't place a value on a good reputation.
