Hi guys,

I just respec'd my master swords/master rifles over to mbh/mcm with rifles 0/4/0/0 as i wanted the concealment (i know this may not be the best rifles tree to take but i dig it). i just couldn't heal well enough with the original template.

So now begins the great bounty hunter learning curve lol. Just out of curiosity, other than critical and underhand what are folks favorite attacks or attack combos? I have done a little play testing so far but it never hurts to ask :-)

Thanks for any tips and advice.

What is your goal here? Are you trying to kill jedi with sheer firepower? That's simply not going to be an option for you with your current template. MCM's get their strength from their ability to dot the be-jesus out of Jedi. However, the ensuing fight will last until the Jedi's ability to heal your paltry damage subsides. This is typically when their force runs out which can be 5min for a poor Jedi or 1 an hour plus for an experienced Jedi who is defensive.

ADV Critical, Head Shot, Torso Shot, Knee Cap, and Overcharge are about what your options are. While they are good and decently damaging shots, your speed will be slower so I don't think you could crank them off fast enough to be a real threat with them, unless the Jedi's healing/armor is diminished, which means you'll have to drain them down.

I prefer MBH/MRM/4xxxCM. I still get the great healing, no DOTs save a basic Neurotoxin, but I have all the Rifleman power + the BH specials with higher power, more exotic rifles. I can put a Jedi down fairly quickly because with my template they'll have a choice to make.... attack me, (but I can heal like 3k every 3 secs or so) or go on defensive and let me wind down their force, meanwhile I'm hitting them for high damage.

It's more about personal preference though. I think MBH/MCM/x4xxR is a good overall PvP template, just not my best pick for PvJ templates.

I'm actually not so worried about killing jedi hehe, just curious more about whichbh specials inflict the most damage and are the most useful really.

I figure with jedi i will just dot and debuff the snot out of them to outlast their force because i agree till they are tapped i'm not going to be able to put them down with this template.

I've got tons of experience with pistols and rifles specials (been both since launch pretty much) but i have never had the pleasure of using bh specials.

From the BH tree:

I regularly use Eye Shot and Confusion shot to blind, stun, and dizzy targets. Advanced Critical is one of my staples, and use it all the time, along with Underhanded shot to KD them. Spray shot is a nice damage dealer, but you have to be careful where you use it

since it's an area attack and will hit things 50m behind your target.

From Rifleman:

You have available cover and conceal which are nice.... but sniper is MUCH better though. I do about 1200-1500 to most Jedi, and as a high as 1800 to some Jedi with snipershot from a covered position. Headshot is another great one, as is torso since it causes a bleed which they have to heal, using more force.
