Thread: Cloak working as intended?
I have Cloak and I don't find this to be fun. The last thing I want people to think I am is an exploiter. Hopefully the Dev's will fix this soon.

the bug usually happens if the cloaked jedi tries to attack while near a server line. I was attacking some blacksun guys and when i went to use choke, i didnt decloak, i stayed cloak while attacking. i even tried to hit cloak and all it said to me was you can not use this skill in your current state.. i wasnt stunned or dizzied.. just unable to uncloak.
some jedi will run around and use this to their advantage in pvp, i am not one of them. I did not seek out this bug nor did i try to use it to my advantage. the one who attacked you either tried to duplicate the bug and did it or just got lucky. i know when i was cloaked attacking those npc they could hit me, they would hit me for 11 damage. but they could still hit me. that is another bug with cloak, but i dont see many people complaining about that..
sorry about your bad experience with this cloaked jedi, but it is not all jedi who do this and even those who do it might not mean too.

this bug is killer to me in pve. Used to get me killed almost daily until i learned re cloaking fixed it. I always thought itw as me dieing that did lol.

Yesterday I was trying to collect on a bounty. The mark cloaked so I began my way back to my speeder. On my way back I was suddenly rooted and began to take damage from a jedi (named asylum on ahazi), he was still cloaked. Not only does the root not break on damage but I couldnt even target him. The one that attacked me 30 mtrs from the Rebel Recruiter must have done it by accident then. He was accidently cloaked, while accidently camping the recruiter and accidently attacked me and my friend without ever uncloaking. I feel much better knowing that he didnt mean to, and I am quite confident about using that recruiter to declare again now.

You know my suspicious mind, for a while I thought he was trying to agro us both so we couldnt pull our vehicles, trying to delay us till his mates turned up. I am so glad that wasn't the case at all and it was all a misunderstanding.
you miss the point of my post, i was saying they mght not mean to attack while cloaked. it is not something we can control. i have camped recruiters waiting for people to go overt, i have done it on my jedi and on my master riflemen with cover..
when i attacked the npc while cloaked i attacked thinking i would decloak, i didnt.. not my fault the game is bugged.. but i didnt go looking for rebel players to kill after either.. if he did then he is exploiting, report it like anything else in the game. but dont assume all jedi who attack while cloak are meaning to do it, some think they will decloak when they push their attack button. so hence they might not mean to attack and stay cloaked, they ment to attack but decloak when they did attack. just didnt happen that way.
