Thread: CA and AA question
As Kezia points out, only one will stick. She points you to a good thread, but there is definitley a mechanism makes it so that only one will show up. I have a +7 skill mod tape that has a second skill mod, one I am not interested in. That tapestays in storage until they fix this or until I can figure out how to ensure the +7 is the mod that sticks.

According to this, only one should stick(though whetherthat's by design or a bug is a mystery...)

To ensure the +7 sticks the +7 either has to be higher then the other mod, or you need to have a tape ALREADY put into that item with a higher value then the one on the same tape as the +7.
For example, if you have a +7 rifle speed +8 rifle aim armor attachment, you will need to put in a +9 or better rifle aim armor attachment into the piece of armor (or ubese shirt) before you put the +7 rifle speed +8 rifle aim tape in.
If the values are the same then the same thing goes. If both values were +7 in the example, then you would need a +8 or higher rifle aim tape.

However, if you have a tape with the less desireable(yet higher) mod listed first, there is another, easier way to remedy this. Using your example with the information in the provided link, let's say you have this tape:
+8 Rifle Aiming
+7 Rifle Speed
If this is the order in which the mods are listed, you can get away with puttting a +1 Rifle Aiming mod into your clothing or armor piece to cancel out the new +8 Rifle Aiming. All you need to do is ensure at least 2 sockets are available and locate a an SEA with some sort of Rifle Aiming mod.
Disclaimer: I have attempted to explain this before and messed it up, so do please read the information in the provided link(it can also be accessed via the stickied Tailor FAQ in their forum. Click the 'FAQ for customers' link and find 'PadreBook's Guide for Application of Skill Enhancing Attachments').
