Hi! Is there a target to abort the seeker droid's tracking and send up a identify one instead?

no. if already sent one to track you must wait until it loses track before launching another one. What you can do though is launch one to identify and then launch one to track right away. If you launch them back to back right away the first one should identify if you are close enough while the other one starts tracking. I usually do this so i can know who i'm hunitng while tracking at the same time. Don't wait to long between launches though, I think you need to launch with 1 or 2 seconds for it to work right.

go away for a little while, say 5 min and the droid will despawn

You won't be able to get another probe droid for the same mark if one is already launched (and stuck in the environment).
I just usually delete the mission then.

If you havent uploaded the bio sig the droid will despawn after about 5 mins and you can call another one.

are you sure about the bio-sig? I've nevr had to deal with it on an npc but I've used multiple arkyd droids on jedi before when the jedi left the planet before i got there.
