Thread: Need some Specs on some good BH and Carbineer weapons

Ok, here is the situation.I need to know the best weapon in the game for a combat level 40bounty hunter/carbineercharactor. May some on the Naritus server point me in the right direction?

Combat Level 40? Good lord man. Dont waste your time buying a weapon for that level unless youplan on staying there. The really decent carbines start showing up around level 50, with the best at level 54.
If you must have a carbine for level 40, there is the the Corestrike Rancor that is a loot drop from the Exemplar at Myess Glade. It is a mediocre carbine. If you want to pay to have one crafted, the nicest level 40 carbine you can get is probably the DXR6. These can have well over 700 damage if enhanced, and they have a 65m range (where most carbines have a 50m range).
Personally I would just join some grinding groups and get yourself leveled up to CL54 as soon as possible. That is where the decent weapon certs are.
