Yup, now i gotta scrounge around for those stupid repair thingies..

Im only using My barc and aV in really safe places now. I just buy a load of those crappy Swoops that cost little to travel in dangerous places.

Yea, lost mine yesterday. Not sure why. I was in the middle of nowhere and suddenly it just blew up. I did the overhead map and looked around. Nothing was around me, not even a creature, and nothing came running to me. My BARC was at full health so not sure what the deal was. I have a storage droid now that has a bunch of swoop deeds in it. On Lowca I havent even found one BARC repair kit for sale. Kind of upset seeing as my motivation for buying SWG:TE was the BARC instead of downloading it. Wasn't the benefit of a BARC is you could repair it for free at a Parking Garage even if its disabled?? I see that changed quickly.

No. The benefit of a BARC is better terrain negotiation / faster speed. Being able to fix it for free at a garage was a bug that got fixed.
From the day BARCs were in the game Artisans had schematics for BARC repair kits to be used on disabled BARCs which were the intended way to repair a disabled BARC. These kits now got renamed to "General Vehicle Repair Kit" and work on AV-21s and Jetpacks (and all other vehicles) in addition to BARCs.
