Okay i launch my droid and fly over to tatooine where he is, when i find him i see he is a level 82 boss so i eat my food go prone and sniper shot. About 20 seconds into the fight krayts start spawning all around us. Now i cant get anywhere near him with out getting killed. Im just hoping he will move so i can actually have a chance at getting him.

Just drop the mission and get another. He probably won't move.

Mask scent is your friend. You know your mark is going to use spray shot too. If you can get between a krayt and your mark, even if the krayt comes after you, he'll go after the mark the second he uses the spray shot.

Somehow I doubt his mask scent effectiveness is high enough to work on Krayts, but why dont you just use the lost art of pulling? Shoot him and run back 50m, he'll move

Say I've drew a few boss marks...is there a way of enhancing your chances?...just wondering there?...yeah masked scent doesnt have a chance against creatures way over lvl80...they will brake the scent and aggro you...bad idea there.

I just remembered what I did when I had the same problem with rancors that kept breaking mask scent.I had my combat droid attack the mark. After my droid was disabled, he came after me but used spray shot so the rancors aggoed him instead of me. After the mark was dead, I ran up, looted the corpse, then used burst run to get out.

Had an ancient appear right on top of my mark earlier this afternoon. Thankfully I hadn't engaged the mark yet, so I spent a couple minutes running around, killing the krayt(no loot either, sucked), then went after the bounty. Took more time, but the krayt had already agroed on me, so I didn't feel like chancing the mark actually being one of the few smart enough not to use aoe attacks.

I've never seen a mark not use an area attack.

I have on 2-3 occassions. It's rare, but when dealing with a CL 82 mark and a CL 94 ancient krayt, I wasn't gonna take chances.

I remember having a lvl 82 boss mark appear right next to a high lvl rebel pve base. Lost looting right to 15 rebel npcs
