Thread: Imp Forces Land and help ?!?!?

Ok, took an npc mission and sad to say was incapped repeatedly. He was a lvl 82 and I just couldn't take him out. Was movnig in after foods and drinks only to see an Imp shuttle land and a squad or Nova Troopers start patrolling (I'm a Imp Combatant btw). I start on my mark once again and the Novas argo him and we smoke him. This ever happen to anyone else? Was I just lucky ?

lucky I would say, there are always imp ships dropping off patrols everywhere. You just lucked up by having a patrol drop beside you and your mark.

yeah just lucky It's pretty cool though....you could pretend they were dropped in to help you. Good thing you weren't a combatant rebel.

pre cu dont know if it happens now but if your imp and got agroed by
something while getting scanned a lamda always dropped of a squad to help you

Don't feel bad, I went on a NPC mission and got stopped by an Imperial Crackdown squad. Needless to say, it was right by the mark, who opened fire, and after I was excused, the troopers went to town on him.
I just sat back and let them do it, since they were kind enough to stop me..I figured they should at least earn their combat pay.

Happened to me as well,way back in the day me and a friend were in the middle of nowhere killing some high level NPC spawns.... then all of a sudden there's to many of them aggroed and we start taking some serious damage.... we're about to go down... and a Lambda shuttle drops off some Stormies. Wiped out the NPCs, and then we used em to help kill some nearby stuff as well.
Was it god? Was it the devs? I'll never know.

I can confirm I had the same thinghappen to me the other day:
Aout 350m out and a Imp probot chucks me off my bike to scan me, he finds my T21 has been sliced better than a loaf of hovis and calls in a crackdown squad, by the time I get back on my bike and reach my mark, the lambda drops them off and they check me, "Sorry Warrant Officer I, Keltan Jackal, we didn't realise it was you"... They then realise im being shot at by a lvl 82 boss and help me out, needless to say that was the easiest BH armour loot i've ever had...
