I would get better armor, something with higher energy protection

lightsaber = energy.

If you are going to use the carbine, get the carbine tree with speed. The specials are fairly close to those of BH.

Yup pistols 1xx3 is nice. The root rules.

Shoot for minimum 7000+ energy resist padded armor. Slice it for armor break (very expensive) if possible.

Slice armor for armor break

Slice weapons for critical shot

And learn to PvP before you go trying to win against the best PvPers in the game.

Those things are ok for about 40% of the Jedi you'll see. But you need better weapons and armor if you want to see consistent results.

You need 6000+ battle armor, sliced for 75% armor break resist.

Spend a couple million on a Featherweight FWG5. Or find casings from BH missions and have a pistol crafted. Ideally you want the highest min damage available. For reference 966 is the max damage on a Featherweight, so you want your gun to be close or capped at that.

Equipment-wise those are the important ones.

Spend the skill points on Pistols 0003 for the rooting The proton will work fine if you get it speed sliced and go for speed powerups. Your armor isnt the best and ideally you want a smuggler to 75% armor break slice it.

Tactics wise i have a few macros which i will pass on to you.

I am Master Carbineer/MBH CM 4000

I until recently used to spam critical shot then a few carbine moves until i found the best way to attack a jedi is like this. Use place shot aimed shot and ranged shot to spam atatcks till the jedis ham is half full then go for a KD and a critical attack.

I have a macro set up for it

/aimedshot;

/pause 0.92; (enter the speed of yuor gun here mine is 0.92 so check your modded speed with powerups and slicing etc)

/rangedshot;

/pause 0.92;

/placedshot;

This works because these shots use very little of your action pool and atatck at a very fast rate but still are effective at dropping the ham of the jedi to the point where you should kd him and use some heavy hitting hard action draining attacks.

I also advise making a macro saying /dump; for the KD bug as this is a real pain. Basically before i try to kd recover i hit the dump button to ensure my combat spam is clear and i dont get bugged.

The only other real advice i can give is keep the Jedi as far from you as possible and make sure you get buffs and eat scrimpi,spiced tea,booster blues and keep some instant stims handy. I try to only use these when i am KD as you cant use bacta shot when this happens
