First off, I´m no Jedi Alt. I´m only a BH. Also, I´m no expert at jedi, and I guess that´s why I´m asking this question...

Yesterday I had a mark that I found at the rebel outpost on...Rori I think...?

As I got there he was attacked by another BH, so I prepare and then jump into the fight thinking it will be over soon. The other BH wasn´t doing very well though and died pretty fast. The fight continued......and I seem to be doing pretty well...both action and mind was decreasing steadily and I saw that victory was within reach. Then suddenly the jedi runs off into the small room where there´s both a starship- and shuttleterminal. Inside he kneels...and for some reason I seem to hit him a little less while he´s kneeling. He just stays there for about 20 seconds not doing anything. Then he runs out, and it´s a whole new fight. It seems like all his bars are full again.....this happens a couple of times. Just as I´m about to wear him down, he runs off and kneels in that little room......After a while I had to log off, so a snare him and hit the burstrun until the tef runs out....

So, here´s my question: WHY???

Is that a magical little room with crazy regen-boosts? Is it harder for us to hit a mark inside a room?

To the jedi: You put up one hell of a fight.....unless this was some kind of exploit....

i think, but im not certain that he ran in there to do some kind of meditation. was ir just plain kneeling? or was it like a TKM meditation sit/kneel.

Meditation takes a lot longer that 20 secs to get full force. if hes channeling youll notice his mind/ action drop suddenly then quickly go back up. Unless he used a holo he couldnt have got full force in 20 secs.

It was the "standard" kneeling...not the tkm-kind on both knees with head down....

I couldn´t notice a sudden drop in action/mind...they were already pretty low. I also thought 20 seconds seemed a bit too fast to get a real benefit from meditating.

And as far as holos goes....aren´t they a one time use per 24h?

Jedi can fight from kneel position also mind and action regens faster in that position i thought (i think)

I knew the regen is faster while sitting, wasn´t sure about kneeling though....

But how about the part with me not hitting him? Kneeling shouldnt do that right? Not being in a building either....

The only thing I can think of, that I might have missed is that he could´ve eaten that ranged def. food as he went in there to regen a little. Thundercloud I think......

Otherwise I´m at a loss.....

Well it seems to me that the Jedi was kneeling in an attempt to regenerate either Force, or stats.

But as to the room that you described, it sounds like a Starport room in a NPC Outpost type "city". I havnt seen this happen lately, but it used to be that you could not attack someone when they entered the room under the landing platform where you have acess to the starship terminals. Even if you were both Overt (SF), and ran into that room, neither of you could attack the other.

I personally do not know if the Devs ever intended to change that, and havnt seen a situation like that in a long time, but it seems to me that it hasnt changed, and thats what the Jedi was doing. Running into the Starport for protection while he regenerated atleast a little.

That is exactly the room I´m talking about....

And as I think about it...I just remember getting frustrated about not hitting him...I might have missed every shot while he was in there...not sure...It did not matter if I was inside or outside...

Now I´m getting pissed...I complimented the jedi for a good fight earlier......but this must clearly be an exploit, right???

I dont know if it is an actual exploit. But with all the latest changes to the Jedi/BH conflict, I would definately say that it is un-intended atleast. Jedi and BH are supposed to be TEF'd and should not be able to enter building that would protect one or the other...Like Player buildings. It would seem to me that those Outpost Starport rooms would fall into that category. Especially since it acts as a safe haven for either side.

Well...I´m gonna have to do a search on this...and if it´s an exploit someone is going to be reported...
