Jedi 2 (Maize Windhuu): Yeah, I'm holding my own mission, and so is my alt. I paid a guy a million credits on another server to create a BH on this server to hold it for me. But I can't find anyone else.

Jedi 3 (-J-e-D-a-I-): No problem. I finished my template during double XP week on the Ryatt trail. You can have the slots from my alt and my other account. AFK grinding FTW!

Publish 20 isn't all bad, after all.

I wish other people(BH's) would see this. I believe that the should remove the duel bug also, then it would be fair.

Bh's wanted jedi nerfed but now that they are an Elite proffession you still want the privilidge of ganking Jedi well now it will be 1 on 1. You knew it was hard hunting Jedi when you took Bh just as Jedi knew they were going to be hunted. Bh will remain hard and get harder if you don't like it then hunt NPC's.

All the jedi shouting about the possible 5v1 scenario is what has bought these publish changes about. When have you ever, ever heard of a jedi having 5 bounty hunters attacking themat once?

Also, assuming that Bounty Hunters only hunt to cause grief is a little short sighted isn't it?

Some Jedi have no idea how long it would take 5 BH to get the same mission. In fact there are so many Jedi it often takes at least 30 min+ to have 2 get the same mission if your lucky.

I have never been in a 5 on one. Very lucky if I can get one other to help.

TBH I've never seen a BH gank squad of 5 or even close to 5 and none of the jedi in our guild have.

The most I've seen is 2 and that's mainly when one BH requests help taking down a full template or an old hand showing a new BH the ropes. Most of the serious BH's i know are... well not anti-social as much as like to RP the lone gunman bit.

This is on the European Chimaera server however, and we seem to have a slightly older/mature player base so I can't vouch for the other servers.I think ganking goes against our english sense of fair play... it's just not cricket you know.

I agree with that totally. I think that most BH's think that they are "lone-gunmen". Some will group but I think more tend to go towards the 1v1 rather than the groups. Plus its more fun to brag that you took down a full temp all by yourself rather than saying a friend and I took one down.

The time it takes to narrow down the mission list to a specific Jedi is horrid, but not impossible. What is far more likely is the case where 3-5 SEPERATE BHs all take the same mission in the same timespan it takes to track and engage. Two of my friends have had this happen several times now:

BH1 shows up and starts wailing. As the fight goes on.. BH2 zeros in and makes ready. BH3 comes by shortly after the first attempt a the DB, and now it's 3-on-one. etc.. etc.. By the time the DB is in, there are 5 BHs swarming around the corpse (to quote one of the Jedi, "Like vultures").

While this is not the infamous 5BH Gank Squad (TM).. it does help to illustrate my point. It's all about the mission. The two Jedi in question were in the 100k-ish sweet-spot pre-curb, where they have surrendered all of their normal profession skill boxes save a few, but not yet high enough in their Jedi template to be capable of handling more than one BH at a time (but possibly one after another).
