Thread: how are they doing this dang spamming startle or something and freezing you

They are either hybrid Rifleman or have Menhancer's Stasis ablity.

The duration of startle shot generally lasts for slightly less than the cooldown on the shot.
To effectively use this tactic in PvP you need to combine startle shot with disarming shot which eats through your action.
If you miss 1 shot though, you're screwed. In the 2 second gap before you can hit another delay shot your opponent can get in their own attacks or get out of range.
And I'm pretty sure that you can use stims while delayed, just can't use any other actions.

I dont know what you are referring to, but:
- there is a bug that takes your ability to KD recovery that is related to KD / startleshot
- freezing is done by either CM xxx3 (not sure about the tier, but last CM line), or Master Enhancer
- There is also a bug involving startle shot that gets you startled every single time in PvP. In PvE, a startle shot that is done right after another startleshot will cause damage, but no startle effect.

There is a bug which can be used to prevent the target from being able to use KD recovery. I assume it involves startle shot - since it has only been used on me by rifleman.
