Problem: There are some unscrupulos players that will do whatever it takes to win in PVP. Whether it be the BH/Jedi scenerio or just normal PVP. Players are causing their foe system to lock up and crash by using /offerride and banktipping via macroes. When macroed these cause lag to the other person to the point they crash.
This needs an immediate fix, not 3-4 publishes down the road.
Solution: Add two additional features in the options menu. "Available to accept rides", and "Accept Bank Tips". The players would then have a safeguard against those who would use macros to lag their opponent out of battle. IF the player has neither of these options checked, then the system would not allow the person trying to send a banktip or offer a ride to proceed with their exploit. They would get a system message something along the lines of "Your Target Does Not Accept Rides or BankTips".
Well, tell me what you think. I know there are jedi and bh that have been on the receiving end of these exploits. The reason I refer to these as exploits is because they are using a normal game mechanic in an unintended way.

the offerride is more tricky...but if someone lags you out with bank tips, a csr can check, and that is something they can take action on

really? I tend to get pretty good customer service when there are serious issues of harrassment and disruption of gameplay. don't put out tickets too often, but when I do I try and present as much information as possible, in situations where they have the capacity to act, things tend to get fixed...of course they can't disclose to you the resulting disciplinary actions against any other player...but they in general, give it a good go, in my experience.
