Thread: Anybody killed level 88 Black Suns since the patch?

I've long considered the level 88 black suns as a true test. Soloing them was hard, but it could be done. After my run-in with Mr godlike Boss list night, I'm wondering if it's possible at all to solo the black suns now. Nightsisters were tougher, actually a lot harder than even pre-CU, but theyare stillkillable. Boss mark last night was the hardest thing I've fought since Spiderclan Elders pre-CU. Most of the FS NPC's I've killed on Dantooine since the patch have been a joke. Just wondering how the BS stack up now... kind of scares me to think how strong they might be.

I ran into a few! It was nasty. He regened health faster than i could hurt him. instead of posting stat this and stat that. It was nasty! If anyone can solo these now, my hats off to you sir.

i still haven't tried it i'm pretty sure i can't do it with my mbh/mrifles i'll have to try with my jedi if i can get past the 4 bh's that have been camping my house.. lol
i could do it pre-patch but not sure now.. i tried a NS stalker earlyer CL 85 pretty nice fight.. they can throw in hits that will make you $hit your pants, i think it hit me for 1200+ with aura on.. have their CL gone up like with krayts? because the CL of krayts has gone up by one for all of them and these were hitting me for 700-900+ before patch so the fight could get really nasty... and a buddy of mine tried to solo a gorax and got smoked, my guess is that it's will be extremely hard to solo giants and ancients, from what i heard ancients are pretty much immune to everything.. snare/root.. they might be even to AB.
i will try and see if i get a chance and go try out these guys out.. if i get a couple hours of peace from bh's

Here's somethin else about the lvl 88 BS Guards... they seem to be immune to armor break as well...after about 10 attempts to land it..I look above his head and see -immune-.

i tried to solo a bs assasin earlier, and it was ridiculous. armor break is now not a viable function for fighting them, as they are immune to it. i am a 4240 def and it still hit me for over 1400 a couple of times. needless to say i rooted and ran. /sigh, i am happy i got my jetpack base 2 nights ago

I was able to kite a melee bshenchman(85) while fighting a ranged bs(85) with my probot combat droid. killed the ranged bs and ran from the henchman to loose agro so i could heal up and they disapeared.
Was a very very fun fight with the henchman on my a$$ the whole time putting some major hurting on me while i killed the ranged bs.
With the new ai this game is finally becoming really fun again.

Good luck getting through the DWB and craftign that now though...lol
Mando has just risen from 500mil/suit to the bank cap....

my guild and I killed some lvl 88 blacksun assassins, but those nightsisters got nasty hard, i got db'ed by a lvl 79 for gods sake
