Thread: Question on Rifle and Carbine slices

I have the follow weapons and was wondering what you all thought I should get for slices:
ALR
445-952 damage
2.70 speed
2.24 modified speed
9 accuracy bonus
82 sac
Laser Carbine
342-856 damage
2.38 speed
2.70 modified speed
19 accuracy
82 sac
I was thinking of getting a full speed slice on both and using a damage power up. I'm just starting out as a BH right now and won't be doing any pvp for some time. Thanks!

you got the right idea. speed slice and damage pup. the speed is too high on both of those, but the damage is ok, not great, but ok.

id get a dmg slice on whichever ranged profession weapon your using and a speed slice on the ranged profession wepon your not going for. becasue eventually youll speed will go up as you get the speed modifiers for your ranged profession.

you can do a lot better than that on an ALR. on Radiant max 1000 is about normal for a non enhanced advanced laser rifle with 82 SAC.
