I've ran about8missons and I would say that at least 5 of them, would Jump like 2-3k away. From once I get about 500m-700m from the droid reporting location. Also if the mark ends up in a NPC City like Deadric the mark is no where to be found and the droid keeps updating the location there.

Didn't have much time to play, but........2 missions, both happened to be on Lok.........one was in a player house.....the other "jumped" and when I arrived, player house.

I had this happen with a jedi today, actually. I tracked him down to somewhere in the middle of dantooine, and started attacking. I landed a single hit and he warped 3km away. I then tracked him down again and nabbed him, but it was still strange...
