Hi, I'm kinda new and don't know what's what weapon wise yet.
I Basicaly want to get my hands on the best weapon possible so I can use my ADK on it. I have 1 ADK and plan to buy a 2nd so I can have 2 weapons. I am MBH/MRifleman/CM4000 (or whichever has all the healing+).
I want 1 rifle for jedi hunting and 1 rifle for everyone else. I've heard for jedi I want highest minimum damage and lowest SAC. Are those realy the only things to consider? If so what weapon best suits my jedi hunting needs and what stats can I expect to get? I don't wanna use my adk on a crap weapon eheh, but have it wasting away in my house because I'm too scarred to use it on a weapon I find out sucks.
For the "everyone else"rifle what stats do I need to consider? And what rifle can I get those stats best on? And what can I get to those stats and how do I get them there?
Heh, kinda a handful of help I'm asking for here >.>. Thanks in advance for any help anyone gives =)

trando hunting rifle for those jedi, for every1 else advanced laser rifle

ok i dont know much about rifleman but if there is a good rifle with kinetic dmg that would be your best bet against a jedi since most of them use psgs now which that with their innate armor gives them 9000+ energy resist.

if youre a wook get a bowcaster, its all you'll need..... if youre not then youll need 2 weapons, i'd say an ALR (energy damage and much cheaper than the trando) for pve and a LD-1 or Fallaan (both kinetic damage) for pvp

ALR and T21 is your Energy friend (Trando just looks cool not much better at all)
LD-1 Fallan and Bowcaster(if Wookiee)- Are your friends also the Rifleman forum will have more to tell you on this subject of rifles

also i believe you can re-use an adk like if you take it off something and put it on something else so you wouldnt be wasting the adk on a crp weapon you can keep that weapon adk'ed untill you find a better one
correct me if im wrong someone

Yah you can re-use an adk but you have to Destroy the weapon with ADK on it so Destroy the gun and then ADK will appear in your inventory

wow, thx for the great tips everyone. Im not wookie so it's a pair of rifles for me hehe. And man... adk reuse is awesome... that totaly changes everything lol Great heads up on the kinetic as well, thx again

Couple things to add/ask. I looked at LD-1 and Fallen and both have significantly lower damage and significantly higher SAC. Are they realy that much better for PvP because they're not energy? Also, how come the Heavy Lightning Cannon gets no love? I just saw one with SAC:85 DMG:503-1144 with that additional Electricity: 40 (whatever that means) That seems pretty good to me, but no one ever mentions HLC so what am I not getting? thx again for any help

Yes - they are that much better. Most everybody nowadays wears a PSG that will further reduce damage done from Energy weapons. If using a Kinetic weapon their only line of defense will be physical armor.

Well generally HLRs don't have the same damage values as ALRs or Trandoshan Hunters Rifles. The damage cap for a HLR is 1150 wheras ALRs, T21s, and Trandoshan Hunter Rifles can reach 1184. Also, the elemental damage scored by a HLR is so low that it's practically negligable.
For the poster who said Trandoshan Hunter Rifles aren't better than ALRs you are wrong. There are special components used in its crafting that tend to give them a higher minimum damage than other rifles and that's where it's strength lies. Unfortunately they are VERY costly and I generally don't recommend the cost for such a minimal increase in damage.
