Thread: Armor Break Slices not working as intended after pub 24?

I can't be quite certain, but i think there was a stealth code change concerning armor break slices.
I have a set of energy layered battle armor with 7000 energy, 5000 kinetic, 6000 elemental. It is sliced to 75% armor break reduction. As most of you probably know, this slice will reduce the effectiveness of a jedi's saber armor break by 75%.
Prior to publish 24, i would notice anywhere from 75-90 additional points of damage done to me after a sucessfull armor break by a jedi.. without the AB slices it would be far worse (probably an additional 250+ dmg).
Today, after pub 24, i noticed a marked increase in the amount of damage i was taking after receiving a saber AB.
Before AB:
Saber throw for 491 dmg overhead, 407/898 absorbed by my armor. This equates to 45% protection.
After AB:
Saber throw for 621 dmg overhead, 277/898 absorbed by my armor. This equates to 30% protection.
If i've done my math correctly, the armor break has effectively reduced my armor protection by66% ! (45% to 30%)
Given the fact that this guy's saber was quite weak, i'm embarrased to say that he killed me very easily after a few AB's were applied. If my math is wrong, please let me know. If you are noticing the same thing happening to you,please post.

Well man. I am noticing I am taking alot more damage than previously AB or no AB. I changed my template from MBH Mcarbines to MBH Mpistols. After I did that, I killed 10 people without losing once, 2 days before publish 24 went live.
Since publish 24, I take an average of 150-200 more points of damage with any given sabre special attack. My equipments has not changed since 2 days before publish 24, and now I can't seem to kill anybody. I used to be able to tank them now I can't. If I do, I am forced to only healing myself, and can not use any attacks. So now I have to use nutricakes toavoid their power strike specials, yet it is futile.
Pre-pub24 I took damage of about 350-500, now its more like 400-750.

rumor mole has it that they ninnja fixed modified saber speed on lightsabers

I dont know if its just jedi but it seems to me like a lot of stuff is hitting me harder now. But yeah i had a jedi hitting me for 600 damage, while i had an ab sliced armor suit, and duelist stance. He also isnt a pre-cu. IDK

Yes I noticed it to. I took about 15ish% more damage. My armor which was 55% before was about 40%. I'm not sure if it's a change in armorbreak, a change in elemental damage or what. But it's definite. I guess you have to be rifles to beat Jedi now.
I know it has nothing to do with speed because its not because of how often I was hit but because of how much I was hit for.
