A Declaration of No Confidence in the Developers of Star Wars: Galaxies
On Behalf of the Player base of Star Wars: Galaxies
Respectfully Submitted to LucasArts, Sony Online Entertainment, and the playerbase at large.
As the individuals responsible for creating and maintaining an entertaining, thrilling, and fair game, enjoyed by fans of Star Wars, while protecting the financial interests of their employers and their partners, thedevelopers are accountable to a large constituency:the players, for whom they must ensure a viable game; their coworkers, for whom they must maintain a productive and welcoming working environment; the families and friends of theseplayers and coworkers, for whom they must uphold a proud and respectable image; and the community at large, for whom they must guarantee economic and communal stewardship of theintellectual propertywith the utmost of transparency and integrity.
The behavior recently exhibited by the Developers of Star Wars:Galaxies compromises all the aforementioned obligations and clearly indicates they are not up to the challenges required of their positions. Their divisive tactics have resulted in irresponsible—and possibly irreversible—harm to morale, undermined their ability to effectivelymanage this Project, and ultimately compromisedtheir professional integrity.
As evidence, we provide a short list of the charges against them.
The Developers of Star Wars: Galaxieshave:
1. Weakenedplayer trust and confidence in Sony Online Entertainment andtheir partnersby aggressively pursuing and encouraging a policy of shortened development cycles, poor testing, lack of communication, and failure to respond to feedback.
2. Tarnished the reputation of the Star Wars franchise by repeatedly violating the player bases basic expectations.
3. Diluted our most valuable pool of ideas and soloutions that would give the game a stronger "Star Wars feel" by flat-outignoring, and, at times, shamelessly moderating productive posts.
4. Misled the general public duringseveral periods in the game, most blatently, the commercials that aired in conjunction with the RotW expansion and CU, while lying to the player base, saying "just give us time".
5. Failed to fulfill the obligations oftheirpositions by refusing to personally discuss disputes, thereby squandering player time, and relegating their own obligations to arguably disinterested parties.
6. Needlessly placed subordinates and their families at risk by failing to maintain a viable level of quality that would ensure a large, and content, playerbase.
For all these reasons it is therefore right and fitting that the player base of Star Wars: Galaxies do hereby formally document and submit this Declaration of No Confidence in the present Developers of Star Wars: Galaxies, and do further petition the management of Sony Online Entertainment, as well as the Management of LucasArts, to remove and seek suitable replacement of saidDevelopers for thispotentially fine and respectable MMORPG.

Why would you post that here and expect a result? Send it to SOE, LucarArts, etc...... sheesh. You know you're going to get this post deleted with those kinds of comments.
Didn't you know that the 1st Amendment freedom of speech only applies when you aren't p|$$ing off the developers? lol
