Thread: Best Way to find Jedi on Kash

Just recently started taking Jedi Bounty missions and have had several on Kash. I eventually get bored of endless searching through each and every instance on kash since you can't use droids there. What is the best way to find Jedi marks on Kash?

Dig a large hole in the ground, cover it up with thin branches and some leaves....

Thenput a feral wookie in front of the hole and wait.....

Especially this time a year, theyre particularly hungry for xp because of the great nerf season, so they are easier to catch

But you will mostly catch the special kinda jedi called the northamerican afk-jedi

Look for pile of dead wookiees, press tab key repeatedly.

I have an alternative method when faced with a message saying "Due to the high number of AFK grinders on Kashyyk the probe droid was unable to trace your target". Press crtl+D, select data tab, right click on mission icon, select delete, go to mission terminal, get another mission that allows you to use your BH tools.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you

It sounds like you know how to search the trails, if they are not at the wookie viallge then they are at the next intersection to the left. Just in case you need a few basic pointers I post the following:

Getting to the instances is easy and you will find half of them afk (depending on your style this could be good , bad or niether) .

Get the trail guide quest, go to the three levels and you will never have to fight your way to web weaver path again, you can just instantly warp there from the gate.

Keep track of what instances you are visiting, chances are you will only have to visit 3 (on average) before finding your mark.

Always check the cloning booth to the left of the entrance, you might find your mark there (easy afk money if nothing else, although I have actually had TWO pitch battles with non afk jedi right at the entrance when I enter, so be ready always))

Be creative on how to avoid the spiders getting to the wookie village, spend sometime at the front to see how Jedi get there. If all else fails, get parawan nutricake and this should give you multiple burst runs, use ruby beil to heal yourself much faster if you have low healing abilities.

You might also want to spend one night just watching and visit every instance, take a list of names down, more to keep track of how populated the instances are. As an example I go to a few certain instances first and usually find my mark, only because the jedis love this one instance, this may vary form server to server, you have to find the rhythm of your server.
When you see them grouped in their tight circle in the village use tab and cycle thorugh the radials, you will see the tabbing going through all the wookies, if a player pops up you have indentified your mark. This is the only way to find your mark on kashykk.

If you have a root attack get ready to use it if the Jedi runs for the bridge.

Hope this helps.

Yeah. I always had a problem getting down the web weaver trail due to lag. It worked fine until I would hit the trial. Then, suddenly, 2 FPS. Burst run don't help one bit. Now, works fine part of the time.

As far as the "line of sight exploit" on the bridge, I had a mark who was kind enough to actually fight me instead of running to the spot and logging. However, there was another on the Ryatt that I didn't even get to shoot at. He came into the instance behind me, used the line of sight exploit, and then logged before I realized he was my target. So, it depends on the jedi. Some are honorable.
