Thread: Hunting Neutral Jedi ?
Perceval1980 wrote:Hello everyone,When you're checking terms you can take NPC missions, Reb Jedi and Imp Jedi. How do you hunt Neutral Jedi ?Only Knights must be imp ou reb but what about Padawans ??Thanks for your answers.
Most Jedi that are on the terms are PvP players and are members of PvP guilds. They will always be factioned since otherwise they couldnt be participating in the GCW PvP.
Neutral Jedi on the other hand tend to be PvE players. Since they dont like PvP, they are concerned about visibility and rarely end up on the terms. The chance that you will ever see a neutral Jedi on the terms is close to non-existant. Neutral Jedi are the ones that stay hidden, you probably could walk by them and not see theyre a Jedi
Thanks for your answer,
But if you are a neutral jedi and group on Dantooine for exp with imp and reb, will you have a chance to be on term like other jedis ?
Is it only PvP acts that give you vis ?
Thanks
Neutral Jedi are very rare; I've only ever met one. He was waiting untilhisknight trials to declare. Most Jedi (like most players) choose a side, though.
However, they can get on the terms.
Groups no longer give you visibility. Only if you attack an NPC, or a non-group member comes too close.

You get visibility by doing the following:
- equipping Lightsaber or Jedi robes
- tuning crystals
- using Jedi abilities (heals / attacks / ...)
You get visibility from any NPC or player that is closer than 32m when you do the above - except if you are grouped with the player / NPC
You get full visibility from opposing-faction NPCs / players, half visibility from neutral NPCs / players, and 1/4th visibility from same-faction NPCs / players.
So if a Jedi is in a group on Dantooine killing Bols, he will not get visibility from the Bols (no NPC or player) and not from the other people in his group (players, but grouped). The only ones that could give him visibility are people driving by, NPCs spawning next to the Jedi while he is doing any of the above and so on. It takes several visibility accidents before a Jedi gets on the terms.
Thank you very much for all your answer peeps !!!
May the Force be with you.
