Thread: Investigation Tree question
I've heard a few higher Expert and Master BH say not to train Investigation until you have enough to train 1, 2 and 3 at the same time. They said that 1 isn't worth the time and 2 and 3 aren't great either. Is there truth in these statements?
well, it's a matter of expediency. if you pick the right marks and you get them in coronet, for instance, you could save a lot of time. i got the 10k initial invest exp in about 3 days. it's taken me weeks since then to get where i am now, which is into invest 3, because the marks are on different planets and you have to find them. they also move, so you have to hunt them. fun in theory, in practice it gets old after about 100 or so.
something to remember, at invest 0 you can only work ahead 10k exp. that puts you at a little less than halfway through earning invest 3. you need 6k more exp and then 18 k exp to get invest 4.

Hi All,
I have a quick question. I am doing the investigation grind now, and I'm wondering if BH xp caps at a certain limit if you don't train tier 1 and 2. Will it eventually cap? Or can you just earn enough to train up to tier 4 of investigation doing the novice missions?
I heard from someone that it capped at 6k xp, but I hit that already, so if anyone has some insight that would be great.
Also, do you get BH xp from slicing uplink terminals during base busting runs?
Thanks alot!
I believe it caps at 10k.
Yes you get 1000 bh xp from jamming uplink on the terminals, although I never tried this. I grinded it the old fashioned way.
