Thread: Best Rifles
he's happy to carry 3 rifles around with him 1 for each.
just want to know what people think to aid in making the decision when he gets there.

I am MBH MRM and I carry at least 12 - 15 rifles with me at any one time, along with a Scatter pistol, a really mean FWG5 and a grinding pistol.
T21'scan begood for PvE as they pump out the damage. A good T21 pwns high level mobs and is my weapon of choice for Krayt/ Gorax hunting. Despite the confined space its also my weapon of choice in the DWB. If you are in a spin group you will need a rifle with less damage output though or you will pull all the agro off the tanks, I often use a DXR or tusken rifle in a spin group.
T21s are not accurate enough for PvP or jedi missions though. I use either an ALR or Beserker for PvP, both with accuracy bonuses, damage and SAC capped, speed sliced etc. Trando hunting rifles are good for PvP but the quest reward ones are too high SAC so go for a crafted one. A good scoped ALR is the most powerful/accurate rifle but it does energy damage so its effect is somewhat lessened cus most PvPers wear a PSG. A Trando rifle does kinetic so has an advantage there, it can also be scoped which is a massive benefit. In fact, why dont I use my Trando more? Hmmmm
I love Beserker rifles, they arent the most powerful in the game, but they look like proper killing instruments. I am sure the mere sight of my Beserker rifle has frightened some people into submission. I did have a sweet Beserker that was close to my T21s in DPS but I lent it to a friend that lent it to a friend and I never saw it again so my final piece of rifle advise is, when you find a good one that you like, dont lend it to anyone. In fact dont even show it to anyone (apart from when you are pointing it at them) cus you know they will just beg you to borrow "just for a couple of hours".

Not had much of a play with the Bola but I have found that in general quest reward weapons have SAC around the 100 mark. To effectively PvP you need a weapon with SAC of 80 max
I have seen a bola with a sac of 85...
