...and I accepted the duel and proceeded to Deathblowthe Jedi so he could get away.

As this person was attempting to take advantage of Factional Alignment, was I a hero or a villain in this scenario?

An "Imperial Jedi" is still a criminal to the Empire. The Emporer has made it clear: only himself and DV are allowed to wield the Force. It's that simple.

Well be that as it may that Imperial Jedi are criminals still in the eyes of the emperor, I will still allow them to live vs. a rebel jedi, cause that way you at least have some jedi support if needed

For the 2 posts above what of the following Jedi who are alive in this timeline:

1. Darth Sidious, aka the Emperor

2. Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith

3. Jerec, Dark Jedi Master, charged with finding Sith and Jedi artifacts.

4. High Inquisitor Tremayne

5. Kadann, Supreme Prophet of the Dark Side

6. Executor Sedriss

7. Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice

8. Jedgar, High Prophet of the Dark Side

9. Mara Jade, Hand of the Emperor

10. Azrakel, the Dark Warrior

All Dark Jedi are allowed to exist. Don't you read the books? Everyone one of these is alivbe during this timeline and these are just the leaders of the Dark Jedi.

No, honestly, I have never read a SW book. All I know is from the movies and the game: kill all Jedi. :>

What does the faction matter so much? In one of these forums it says on a guide or soemthing that Imperials take action against jedi in contraband more harshly than non-jedi. So to me what does it matter?

Technically you're the exploiter. Even though I think same faction bounty hunting is the lamest of the lame at least it's not an exploit.

Well then maybe the emperer wants to tell the imperial recruiter in bestine that I pass everyday to stop giving out rank, equipment, troops and promotions to dark jedi.

I am currently IMP and I hunt both Imp and Rebel jedi... because the Empire wants all jedi eliminated.... I dont care if you help bust bases .. Im just doing what Im paid to do.

Why am I Imp and not neutral ... This game currently has a HUGE lack of content .. so .. I've been neutral, I've been rebel and now I'm Imp. When new content comes around .. I believe the factional rewards are better than the neutral ones.

Why I hate being neutral ... all Imps think you are a rebel, and all Rebels think you are an Imp.

They need to add the third class.

What about a Rebel who joins the Imperial side to hunt Imperial Jedi under the cover of faction....

Very effective...and works both ways.

Heres my take on it. Same faction hunting only makes a Jedi mad when he/she loses. I used to feel guilty about until I seen on our server the biggest whiner about same faction hunting. what was he doing..He was out grinding with Rebel Jedi!! So as far as same faction goes.....They can grind together...They can die together

it doesn't surprise me a former cm/fencer fotm player uses an exploit (or at the very least abuses an unwanted game mechanic)

you weren't the vilain, you're the exploiter!

For us in Valor it is a matter of maintaining relationships with other imperial guilds on the server. We have agreements with many of them not to hunt their, or any other, imperial jedi. If one of our members is caught doing so, they will be chucked. That simple. It's a matter of respect and factional loyalty. Since the Jedi part of the story has been broken, the least we can do is maintain our factional alignments.

You know that scene, the one where Marlon Brando did that little hand wave right before he died. Yeah. That was beautiful man.

I wrote this before the NGE, now I feel like Brando
