Thread: Deathblowing a Jedi without a tef.... An exploit?

Now, I'm fairly new to bh, leveled it, and started hunting jedi
Earlier today i pulled a Knights mission, Full template, He happened to be in theed PvP'ing, so, i waited for the people he was fighting against to incap... When he finally incaped, I deathblew him without attacking once..
Now, it may not be the fairest thing in the world, But, i got paid, and i got my mission completed. After that, i received hate tells (of course) and then about an hour later i got an mail from one of his buds saying that db'ing a jedi without dmg'ing him is an exploit.
Can someone clear this up for me, please. Is this an exploit? Or not.

LOL good kill...if the Jedi was dumb enought to duel theed the i would DB him just outa spite. Easy 226k for you..../grin

226K? Is anyone getting this kind of pay? If so, how?The best I can do is about 50K.

Either you only get paddies or you are just reading the mission payout on the terms, which only says around 50k. Once you make the kill, you get a "bonus"

Mission was 51k, after you kill the jedi, you recieve a bonus. (full templates pay 225k)

db'ing a jedi who got incapped in a duel while you have his mission is not an exploit, but it is a mean spirited, underhanded, cold hearted, dishonorable thing to do... and I would have done the exact same thing, infact I've done it several times before lol. Nice job and nice use of tactics. We need more Bh like us who are willing to do these things. Its the jedi's fault for dueling in public. Keep us the good work.

I've received over 500k for some of my jedi kills 225k +another 300+k for the bonus

Thats not possible ever since the FRS was turned off.
And reguarding the topic that is a very good tactic indeed, i did the same to a jedi on my bh about 2 weeks back. Ran up and db'd her after she got taken out by an eopie.

Yes it is. I'm not lying. It was just the bonus not sure if it has anything to do with FRS.

Supposedly, when they introduced the bonus system they introduced two bonuses; One template bonus and one this-sucker-has-survived-a-long-time-without-getting-killed-but-you-took-him-down bonus.
My guess is that the extra money your seeing comes from the latter. Good to see it's working then

well hell, my jedi should be worth a lot then, it hasnt died to a bh in about 2 months

You were reading it wrong, HIGHEST payout right now is 226K without FRS, 51K mission + final pay from BH guild (175K+) totals to 226K. The way the message is written looks like you actually got a huge bonus.
