I'm trying to decide on a BH template. Right now I've narrowed it down to either Riflemenor Pistoleer. I'm leaning to rifles but with CM 4xxx that wouldnt leave room to get root from Pistoleer. So is root a must for BH?

At some point, either you or the jedi is going to try and run.....

Well you have Underhand Shot or Stopping Shot. Stopping Shot is on a longer timer, so you have to land it. I use Underhand Shot and can use it very often. Use as in land the jedi on his back, put a few slugs in him, then fail to knock my target down every other time I try to use it. Not sure why I only land it once on a mark.

You can only knock down an opponent once every 30 seconds. The actual shot can land over and over, but the person won't be knocked down.

Rifle is better, no point in worrying if they are going to run away if you cant even manage to damage them. Also the range on rifle is enough witha quick burstrun that you can keep up with most runners.
Only thing root does is help you control the pace a bit better. Not needed though.

Take the rifles......pistols isnt good for jedi killing, rifles keeps ya out of range, and you can keep em away long enough to kill em. Root is nice to stop em from running, but burstrun coupled with kneecap shot means you should be able to keep up. Plus, if you can get that lovely speed de-buff from CM, you would have that sucker stopped dead.
