Thread: Should I take the easy way out (respec)? Should I do it the tough way (grind it out)?

That is the question... anyways, I am not sure what to do here. I can take the easy way out and just respec into a MCH/MBH/CM4/0/0/0 or I can grind it out. What do you all think I should do?

Aside from the BH xp, you can get everything else in a week doing full groups on dantooine. It'll also give you a better chance to learn all the different skills and such.
Once you get novice BH, you can get the investigation xp over a weekend, if you grind it hard.
But if you're impatient, use the respec, that's what its there for. :]

Chew,. If you have it use it, who cares, have fun, the skill in knowing the template will come in time better spent playing (looking for cool rare creatures, fighting NPC BH marks for cool loot, hunting the ultimate ...player jedi's etc) rather than griding.
Do yourself a favor and /respec have fun. You earned the respec just like anybody else did. The only stuff is understnaidng how the droids work, and you can use an FAQ

Sure people rag on respec'ers. But thats what its there for. I've been here since day one, and have had my fill of grinding, so I hit the magical respec button. I hate when people rag on the respecs, alot of us know theprofand play it just as good if not better than those who grinded the whole prof out. So respec and go do some NPCBH missions and get all your specials down and skills down, then take on the jedi. Just don't do it without first learning the profession and how to use your skills.

If nothing else, you should grind simply for the loot you'll be getting while doing the invest column. And if i were you I would do every tree in BH EXCEPT the invest column and do missions on the same planet as long as they drop as good loot as MBH mission, and after they finaly nerf that go up the tree.

This is a game. Game's are supposed to be fun. Is grinding fun? Well, some people may say yes. Use the respec. That's what it's there for. Just remember not to complain after you use it and you don't like what you have, lol.

I cant tell you how many times ive been in a tight turn in a pilot mission and levelled off with

Grinding to MBH takes no skill at all. I still have my respec, but I found that killing bols for the 0444 gives you the same ressult as simply /doing respec. The only thing that might help a bit to learn and be a "better" BH is knowing how the droids work, but it's not too hard to figure how to do it at MBH, you never get to practice jedi hunting until you hit MBH so there's not much skill needed to reach it

I say grind it out. That way if you dont like it, you can use the respec to change to what you want.

Only true BHs around now are the ones who grinded it. Respec is for the ones who quit the grind in the first place. Its funny, I know of 20 who couldnt hack the grind and as soon as respec came they were MBHs, lol.

Actually, I left the game for a couple months due to the CU. When I came back, I found out that MCH/TKM with some Scout and medic wasn't much fun anymore. I am going to pick up MBH for that reason. It wasn't that I couldn't hack teh grind, I never started the BH grind to begin with.

So what about us Respecer's who do better than those who grinded it out?
