If you like the idea of anonymous Jedi missions, then why wait for SOE? You can simulate anonymous missions now...

1.) Open the BH terminal screen.

2.) Sort the "Payment" column in ascending order.

3.) Cover the Payment column with your hand, then reclick the Refresh button a few times.

4.) Accept either the last or second to last mission, never looking at the bounty amount or name.

5.) Continue to follow-through on the entire mission. Remember to never check the mission's target name or payout.

You will of course run into some not online Jedi. Just ignore those and try again. If you discover you pulled an NPC mission, that's fine too, just complete the mission, and/or pretend the Jedi was a house sitter. If you have faction limitations on yourself, that is easy to solve too, since the first thing you'll notice about your target is a purple or blue dot.

Once you have done this exercise for a handful of Jedi, report back here on your experience.

The whole idea of anonymous only missons is just plain stupid. A bounty is a legal document issued in the Empire by the Imperial Office of Criminal Investigations (IOCI). It would include all available information and would look something like this:

WANTED - DEAD or ALIVE

Cheziian

Species: Wookiee
Sex: Male
Age: 180
Homeworld: Kashyyyk
Known Associates: Multiple Jedi criminals

Bounty: 200,000 credits
Classification: Corporate
Application Conditions: Dead or Alive
Bonus: None
Determent: None

Crimes:
Homicide of a security officer (2 counts)
Numerous customs violations

Originator: Lord Alric Oorsil, ExO and Prex, Oorsil Enterprises
Receiver: Oorsil Enterprises Security Division headquarters, Alaris II Prime, or any regional Oorsil Enterprises office.

Brief: Subject killed two security guards while effecting an escape from a heavily fortified installation and violated numerous customs laws while fleeing the system. Subject has a familiarity with a wide range of weapons, particularly the Wookiee bowcaster, and excels at lightsaber combat. Subject also has a propensity for the use of explosives. Subject owns and operates anFirespray B Light Interceptor registered as the "Treestalker." The vessel is known to have a heavy weapons loadout and several false transponder codes, all with a Kashyyyk-oriented theme. Subject should be considered heavily armed and extremely dangerous.

You know how cool it would be to see that kinda bounty? Or even a better way, for it to actually LIST what the person did. If they got vis by saber-skewering Tuskans, then it'd be kinda convenient if that's what it said.

no name no payout.

make terms show online status, level of difficulty and faction affiliation. problem solved. maybe they should give us a name when we land on the correct planet or something or at the spynet. nothing wrong with a little leg work is their? you have no real need for names because you really shouldn't be targeting a specific Jedi in my opinion. I never have, plus I would like to empty my friggin friends list now, its too long.

Now I've no problem with leg work, in fact I think droids are a far to easy option, but I'm not about to go wasting my time hunting down a guild mate just because some BH kept targeting a specific Jedi who should eventually get a clue and stay off the terms. There is a jedi in my guild who regularly gets targeted by a specific BH and its turned into a love hate relationship with them. He actually looks forward to their 'meetings'.

some of the reasons why anonymous missions wont work. if the bh's are griefing, they should be reported. simple as that.

now, add faction to the term info, that would be helpful!

I almost never post in here cuz I dont want to stir the pot and respect that this is you guys forums and Im no a BH but I did want to mention something I thought interesting. The bounty mentions dead or alive but BHs only bring in jedi dead. I wonder if it would not add some good content if BHs had a option to restrain jedi and turn them in alive for a higher bounty. This could be tweaked all kinds of ways for great content. Jedi can be restrained as the high end hunters had techniques for dealing with FS people, I.E. force cages, tranquilizers etc... So say for example said Bounty Hunter loves the hunt and is challenged by the possiability of being able to bring a jedi in alive to collect a higher bounty or reward. He completes any number of quests related to this and gains trank gun, force cages or other cool jedi hunting related stuff to assist in the live capture of mark. He then goes and hunts his mark and manages the incap with the trank gun <instant capture with resist percentages> or incaps with regular weapon and has to run up and risk restraining the jedi or such to get him back to his force cage. He then can stuff his passenger in his vehicle or drag him if he likes and takes him to the nearest imperial authority who take posession of the prisoner. As you can see this has limitless content possiabilities for both sides <Jedi taking captured BHs before the council/Dark Jedi council>. Just thought I'd get you guys take on that.

Hmm. Except bounty amount stays in, but not a name.
