Please try not to flame or get upsett with this. It's a question that's been brought up to me on several occasions and I decided I might as well open the can and ask it.

So here goes:

Other than the "Because the missions are broke, and because we're supposed to have that ability" arguement, Why aren't the BH's still hunting Jedi?

I know for a fact that it can be done. I've been killed 3 times in the last 3 weeks by Dark Jedi, and they didn't need tracking droids to do it. I know that they have differing reasons for hunting us Jedi, as it's part of the Jedi vs. Dark Jedi struggle and it's awesome. But I miss having to worry about the Evil BH's. I would have thought that you guys would still be hunting us despite not having a specific return...

Are you hunting jedisolely for the money and xp alone?Or are you still hunting us, and simplyunable to find us? Can't you guys use a ranger? Do you simply lack the desire to hunt jedi without getting cash and having the "System" reward you?

Frankly, As a jedi, I feel the borked missions have taken away part of my content as well.

Where to start?

First, I think you might be one of the few jedi, who is entralled by the possiblility of getting smoked by a BH. But you are right, it adds extra element of danger in the game, that is essential to recreate the feel that the StarWars galaxy has.

As far as finding you guys, man I try, and I do use ranger, but it is really like someone telling you, "there is a guy somewhere in Texas with a red hat on, go and find him".... "oh and by the way, he will be hiding".... Its not that easy to find someone, who doesn't want to be found in such vast environments.

The game is not being developed in a way to nurture these types of things either. Broken Jedi missions, weak BH combat defences, its almost impossible, and I don't know many BH that can boast killing more than 1 or 2 jedi at the most. Regardless of what they say.

So in closing, if I found you, I would kill you, but thats the trick isn't it. Good post though, with many good points.

I won't hunt Jedi without a mission, I have no hatred towards Jedi so I don't see why I should be combing the jungles to get them. When the terminal are working again I will continue to aid the Imperial cause.

I don't know about everyone else, but on my server when the terms broke...jedi started hanging out in the open. I've seen more jedi hanging around in coronet in the past 3 days that I have seen total in the past 3 months.

I'm waiting for the perma-overt, and really hoping that we can take bounties on them. I've only fought against 5 jedi....3 of which used force run to get away. (That was before I learned about the greatness of parwan)

The other 2 just stomped my bothan behind so badly I'm still feeling pain 5 clones later.The one I was beaten down by today was doing over 400 mind damage per hit....and I have 90% base composite. (80% kinetic, 33% stun)

I know that sabers do kinetic and I have no mitigation....but lets do the math on that. 400 damage is 20% of what was originally dealt...so 2,000. 75% PVP reduction means that hit was only 25% of the original number.......8,000. That doesn't count my meager melee defense mods....

8k DPS compared to my 1k DPS with a pre-nerf krayt scatter pistol. I was hitting him for 50 damage (when he wasn't blocking the damage....which he did roughly 8 out of 10 hits)

How in the *EDIT!!!!* are we supposed to compete with that?

From this day forward, I'm only hunting jedi when I have a pack of loyal friends to help me out. Namely 9 riflemen, 5 TKMs, and 10 combat medics....lol.

Dizzy/Posture Down/Stun/Intimidate are all the friends a BH needs when fighting a Jedi

Ok folks, I'm not looking for flames in here so please don't. But I have a question or two.

I was a CU Alpha tester for Teras Kasi, now at that time while we were watching forums for 6 months (There was no Alpha) we were told over and over again that Jedi was not part of the CU. Just like crafters and JTL were "beyond the scope" of the CU. "Jedi would be getting their own revamp later after the other professions were brought into balance"

FRS was then disabled, CU Beta testing began... oh wait, make that ROTW beta testing. So we all know the story from there. Now here we are many months later and out comes the newest expansion.

Now Squad Leader and Ranger revamp are introduced or in-live already. I think Smuggler definately needs to be done next, followed by Jedi. Bounty Hunters already got their revamp during CU so it's not an "us or them" issue IMHO.

Jedi need their revamp soon. Saber speed bugs, Powers has no major damage, many of our skills are now broken, nerfed, or just completely useless. I don't want us to be skipped ahead of other professions like Smuggler but they really need to get on it.

My question is wether or not the Dev's can tell us if they have a plan and wether or not they can give us some kind of ETA. A month, 2 months, 6 months? I'm just hoping that they give us our revamp before they come out with another expansion.

BTW.. I know Tiggs, TH, Blix, and the bunch are gonna be busy as heck the next week or so due to pre-orders going live today and then the big push on Nov 1st.

Dev's, I've been here since the beginning. Yes, I would like some sort of answer BUT I'm willing to wait for a good one. Take care of what you have to take care of then pop on in to the Jedi boards and instill some hope in us. IMHO, put up a post with straight facts. Even if they're just estimates... just some sort of "plan of attack". Then lock the post to avoid the flame war that will inevitably begin.

I've stuck with you guys this long... I'll probably be here to the bitter end.
