Well i've been a Bounty hunter for over a year and a half--
I think it's time to say goodbye.

I've been a bounty hunter for over 2 years and master bounty hunter for a few weeks short of 2 years. I am also thinking of leaving it. With all the Jedi that dont want to PvP im thinking of becoming a Jedi to give the bounty hunters a target that will fight.

I really enjoyed it in beta having to allways watch my back and be prepared for the unexpected ambushby a bounty hunter. I figure it will be more fun then going overt just so 5+ jedi can kill me in 1sec. funny they dont like being ganked like that but thats what they do.

The reasons why most jedi do not like to fight BH is simple, their sabers suck and they'll most likely lose xp. With the canstant nerfs the jedi disciplines have been getting with each publish, even the older jedi are constantly having to alter their templates, so xp loss is really a factor for everyone.

Actually i just find BH very boring now.

About the only two things that makes the profession worth a darn are:

1: Duelist stance
2: NPC loot missions

Problem with that idea is that I've known two BHs go Jedi stating that was their reason and turn into the biggest runners.... lol

yea and the CA/AA rate being nerfed makes number 2 not such a good thing. Im at 35 NPC missions in a row with nothing by jars of bugs or smuggler loot. Ive encounter 5 double chevron gold marks during this time and theyve given me nothing but smuggler loot and a BH schem now and then. This started when I capped my Investigation XP. Anyone else seeing this.

When using this, I see +Return Fire+ above my head. Just what is this ability doing?

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.

You only enjoyed it in beta, because it was something new, and because you were at the end template. it isn't that fun when you go from step 1 to finish. You'll see when you do it, if you do it. i don't have any problem with staying and fighting, but like my last fight, went over 50minutes(i think mostly because of lag, and the guy healing 3times within 2seconds). It got me wondering.. what am i fighting for? i don't get off the terminals, i don't get cash, i don't get anything from it, except wasted time.

it means you returned fire lol, in duel that deals about 25 points of damage to the other person.

I've been a MBH since publish 9, and I think I'm going to go crafter for a while. I don't want to change to CM/MBH, and so I'm not very viable in a 1v1 Jedi setting, since it seems that all the Jedi I face are master defenders. Plus issues with lag and warping make it difficult for me to pvp. Today, I kd'd a Jedi, and admittedly I stood for 2 shots--which was stupid on my part, and I know better--instead of kiting right away, my snare missed on the third shot because of aura, and then rooted, and kd'd, didn't see the animation, I was standing the whole time trying to heal, --I hate system messages btw, I wish they came in bright orange-- and died in 5 hits, 951 dmg works you over pretty good. I've had a lot more issues with lag after the CU but I really like the npc missions, afraid that's not enough to hold my attention though. Before I couldnt take a Jedi with my MBH/MR temp, still can't, so I'm thinking about changing the temp...I hate to think of giving it up, but maybe I can go champion a cause in another profession...
