Thread: master riflemen or master combat medic

should i remove Master riflemen and take master combat medic, i hear cm is better against jedi
don't master either of them and dabble.
i was recently an MBH/MRifles and i had a good amount of success. a couple of days ago i switched my template around to play with the CM debuffs. i will never go back. thyroid rupture is awesome! it helps immensely in reducing the jedi's DPS. electrolyte drain is also great against the runners.
my new template is: MBH, CM 4404, Rifles 4004.
plus with only one elite mastery (MBH), you feel more like a "true" BH who has peripheral skills in other disciplines, instead of being a master combat medic who also happens to be able to hunt jedi.
i have great tips if you choose to try out this template.

(im not a rifleman but have friens who are, and have read these boards alot) A "first strike" of Sniper shot, then headshot can easily take 2k hp off a jedi, couple that with a bomb droid and u have a dead jedi. (this is just what i've heard) i've phsyically seen a rifleman with a good gun do 1600 dmg to me with 1 shot .. so its probably possible to kill a jedi within the first couple seconds
master riflemen definitely have a greater chance to lay down a lot of damage (or even incap) on a jedi in an alpha strike.
try this for an alpha strike if you are a master rifleman:
/aim
drink deuterium pyro (aim+ pyro gives you 750+ accuracy so you have very low chance of missing the following shots)
/snipershot (high damage shot catching him by surprise)
/underhand shot (for KD. you usually get the KD in because he's still trying to figure out what's going on from the snipershot)
/startleshot (this is a high damage shot amplified by the jedi's KD'd posture, which also dazes the jedi and makes him unable to get back up)
/adv. crit (since the jedi cannot get up from the previous shot, your damage on adv. crit is amplified again because he is still in a KD posture)
/headshot (this is usually the incap shot if the jedi is not a defender. by the time the combat round gets to this point, he's trying to stand up)

thatsa great alpha strike but to get all them shots to land ud be lucky then the jedi would be dead
actually, that's what /aim + pyro is for. you hardly ever miss with 750+ accuracy. especially if the jedi's aura is not on, he probably only has around 200-ish defense.
your 750 accuracy vs. his 200 defense is a good chance to land them all.
i just did that exact strike this is thhow it went all numbers are actual damge
drunk pyro did aim
sniper missed
Kd hit for 364
startle shot hit for 872
crit shot hit for 1105
head shot hit for 797
sniper shot hit for 1505
Total from alpha strike about 3745 first shot missed she got a heal some where n ran for her life but thats the type of dame u can do shes a 1010 defender
