Thread: Only BH with NPC mission can attack

This is not working!!!

I got a mission today that spawned in the middle of Mos Eisley. I land and it is being attacked by another player. I still outdamage them, and do not have permission to loot the corpse.



Well, I left Dec. 3rd and like I promised I came back to give you another chance.
So Sony, impress me with the new system - not good enough, back to WoW 3/06 !
I am back again 3 months later giving you 1 last chance.
Looks like I will be staying, keep up your hard work.

had it happen to me once, poor guy was afk too... got there in the nick of time

For whatever reason, the marks can attack other BH's and faction npc's. Step off a shuttle and I get nailed two or three times a day by other peoples marks. Works out though, their targets generally have a lot better loot than mine...

Marks agro on vehicles owned by anyone from what I've seen. Ifa vehicle is attackedthey can attack the mark even if its not theirs.

This happend to me also lastnight and it was a jedi fighting him. The Jedi told me the npc attacked him. I was lucky and did more damage on the npc as well.

Ive had a few missions where me and my buddy who is a MCM ride out to a mission and he can'tdo anything butheal me, but when my friend who is a jedi came out aswell the thing aggroed him lol and we both killed it whilethe CM keptus healed....that b*stard wasthe toughest one yet, and it gave me crap for loot lol!

I'm not a BH, but I keep getting attacked by BH NPC marks. I'll just be walking through town, or driving to a mission and I'll pass a white dot, that quickly turns red and lays the smack down on me. After it kills me it goes back to a white dot. Its very annoying.

I had one just outside of Theed starport and the jedi duel crowd was having their way with it. I still got the invest xp though.

Now imagine being on your jedi in the middle of no where and one spawns and starts to blast away. First I was thinking NPC BH's sweet... but found it was a guys mark as he soon rode up after. I was nice about it gave him the loot. I had already had way to many smuggler components. Quite funny though.

I didn't realize that you can bring along a healing buddy when you are doing a mission. Hmm... does this work with both NPC and Jedi marks? Thanks for an answer...I havent played in a while and I'm slowly getting back up to speed.

I drove by someone's mark last night since it was right outside my house and the NPC went from white to yellow and was double-gold chevron and incapped me since I was on my bike, then momentarily the BH showed up to finish his mission. It will attack anyone that doesn't have the mission for some reason.

When the sith came for me, they attacked my BH target. lol

I actually got attacked by somebody elses markt he other day. It was in an outside starport, Dantooine I think. I landed, came outside and the sucker started shooting at me. About 30 seconds later the BH with the mission finally showed up. Guess he lucked out and got help from me. Thank god it wasnt a boss, so wasnt ready for that.
