I just mastered Bounty Hunter and I have some questions about equipment and how to fight right.
I also have master rifleman, I was wondering what armor and weapons I should be concentrating on. Like should I be going for mandalorian armor and if so, how doI get it? I have a somewhat decent set of composite. I am trying to get a trando hunting rifle, but I am not quite sure how, I assume it would be a good weapon to have for long-distance. So if anyone knows how and where to get one, I would appreciate it. Right now my strategy in combat is to use sniper shot and then underhand shot, and then critical hit and underhand shot until they are dead. But sometimes the NPC marks get the best of me.

Trandoshan Hunter's Rifle is a good choice. It does a 1184 Max, but SAC tends to be a little on the high side. You should forgot all together about Mandalorian Armor and go for something easier. Start looting BH Armor Schematics, super cool armor with potential nice stats. Best of luck to you!

Oh yeah. . .Mandalorian Armor comes from the Death Watch Bunker on Endor and you loot the components of a Trandoshan Hunter's Rifle on the Avatar Platform above Kashyyyk.

Weapons of your choosing:
Trando Hunting Rifle - Crafted and xpensive
Heavy Lightning rifle - Crafted no so xpensive
LD-1 Rifle - Quested on Kash so cheap and not too shabby
Featherweight FwG5 - Kinetic damage - crafted fairly affordable
Armor (depends on your target)
Recon /w 8000 resist energy - for energy using marks
Recon /w 8000 resist kinetic - for kinetic using people
or
Composite thats more balanced like 6200 energy, 6000 kinetic or around there.
PSG - 2000 or higher energy.. .. mine is 2401
And for strategy I would do about what you are except i tend to do this more:
Sniper shot + advanced crit + knockdown + headshot + and go from there.
I don't use 2 knockdowns that are close 2gether as the later one will normally get resisted. But everyone is different so go with what works for you.

(Knockdown is on a 30 second timer that's why you can't land two in a row, you're not being "resisted"...i have a cheesy macro for my KD that just pauses for 30 seconds after i hit it and thenthe macro/t's me when it's ready again - just FYI)
