Thread: How to make the uberst jedi killing weapon!!! if you hunt jedi read
The uber weapon for pvp(jedi)is not low sac... the key is "minimum" damage. Minimum damage is what counts on pvp.
Aweaponsmithcan exp on damage afterthey reach max cap... tell them do this tillthey cannot exp on dmg no more... it will bring up min damage.
Here is why, I will use my carbs for example...
1) a dmg caped carbhasmin at about 435 with best resouces. (no exp after reach max cap)
2) my carb built for for min dmg (exp past max dmg cap) has it min as 465. (still can exp for sac... mine at 80)
now add a 34.45% dmg pup to each, which go off of minimum dmg
1)584 minimum damage
2) 625 minimum damage
Real game stats... On avg a jedi will absorb 50% of damge with there innate armor. So I will use that avg.
1) sac caped weapon using adv critical and leg (584 min damage, which is what dmg is in pvp)
Adv critical does 1.9 dmgwith1.7 timer. = 1108.6 dmg (- 50% armor)554.8 dmg / 1.7 = 326.3 actual dps
Impleg does 1.9 dmg with 1.6 timer = 1108.6 dmg (-50%)554.8 dmg/ 1.6 = 346.7 actual dps
Now this weapon will avg, alternating shots, 336 dps and still eat up sac on sac capped weapon
(for sac pups... 435 min = 249 dps for this combo and you will never run low on sac)
2) weapon for min dmg using ranged / place(will never be low on action) (625 dmg)
Ranged does 1.0 dmg with 1.0 timer = 625 dmg (-50%) 312.5 dmg/ 1 = 312.5 actual dps
Placed does 1.2 dmgwith 1.1 timer = 750 dmg (-50%) 375 dmg/ 1.1 = 340.9 actual dps
Now this weapon will avg, alternating shots, 326.7 dps and you will never be low on sac.
Gentleman I have tested this time and time again...
The reason jedi deal hell of dmg is their min on saber is so high (and the have high elemental)
If you are going to hunt jedi... loot the componets you need.. (stock, cells, and scope) find a good weaponsmith and do the following
Exp all you can damage.. this is past the max cap... it will bring up min.
There is a maxamount of exp. aweaponsmith can give to damage not sure how many exp points it is.. but once reached put the rest on sac. (this way you have some room to do specials at the right times.. like a kd)
Next buy some 34.45% dmg (adds 9% spd) pups.
Used the ranged/placed combo (i actually use ranged - critical - placed and never run low) and save yourdmg combo adv head/leg - adv critical for... when jedi is kd'd... or when jedi is about dead.
You will find this makes a huge difference
i like the fact that the hlr has a pretty good minimum damage as well.
the high defense of mdef and such makes the actual damage closer to the minimum of your weapon. armor does not affect that except for lowering whatever damage is caculated as "a hit".
this is also the reason scatter pistols are kind of gimped - they have a pretty durn low minimum damage - usually well under 400.
On the other hand, if the Jedi doesnt have Force Aura, max damage and SAC is important. So you better have 2 rifles ready

All pvp is based on minimum damage.....
If your accuracy is higher you do more towards your max (not your max and a bonus).
I have fought jedi with no def aura (and nothing going ...surprise attacks).
The most damage I have done is 1600 (before armour) with adv critical. (this is with pyro and my acc. is above 300 with tapes so I had over 580 accuracy)
my carb puped is 625 - 1223 dmg (+61 acc bonus)
Adv critical is 1.9x
so if max applied I would do 1223 x 1.9 = 2324 dmg
If my min was appliedI would do625 x1.9 = 1187.5 dmg
What i get is about 1600 dmg-- or a base of 842... so the most I think you can get even if jedi has little defense is about1/2 of your max and min--- or your dps. This is with you accuracy being way higher then defenders defense.
Now another point... the difference between adv critical and placed is very small with this mulitplier, and because armor reduction is by %. Nowmost jedi even weak absorb 50% dmg.
Adv. critical 842 (from above) x 1.9 = 1600 (-50%) = 800/ 1.7 timer = 470 dps (this is after armor etc.)
Placed842(from above) x 1.2 = 1010 (-50%)= 505 / 1.1 timer =459 dps (this is after armor etc.)
The difference is 11 pts of damage every second... that is very small especailly for the sac you save with placed.
Also if you make a sac caped weapon to do your specials you cannot make a high min damage weapon.
All added up (points in other post) to fight jedi get a weapon that has full dmg experiment (past max, for min).. put the remander on sac (my carb this way still has 80 sac.. not bad) put on the 34.45% dmg pups and do ranged/placed.. till jedi is weak then hit your specials... This is more effective even against weak jedi
I in no way was trying to flame your post... just want to help BHwhen tring to decide what to do for jedi hunting weapon wise.
I'm wondering with the new cells if you had some 190ish cells with 8/9 - sac and .8-9 speed if that would make a seriously nasty min damage weapon that also hit the max damageand still manage to have the sac needed to spam specials when needed.

Dmg pup that baby and go to work
This makes me want to make a rifle... was going to do a plasma flame thrower (becuase high elem and min damg) but with what you have and sac capped... I think you can have a min (dmg exp past max cap) of over 500.
that would be with pup 672 min and 40 elem for over 700 pvp dmg mulitplier. thats nasty...
Thanks for the opinion... so with a 34% damage PUP that would raise the min damage to like 640 right? and the max damage to 1313?

Damage pups work like this...
Take your min damage: 477
Now add the % from pup: 477 + 34.45% = 164 bonus or 641 min damge
Now add the bonus to max: 1150 + 164 (from above) = 1314
So you should get 641-1314 w/40 elect.
Elem. is seperate dmg on same shot... so you will hit 641 for your min + 40 for you elem for 681 so you are right...
NOTE: you are sac capped... with that you can afford to put specials in the mix...
I suggest this combo
Adv critical - ranged - placed ... then repeat (with right food you may even be able to add head shot in the mix)
And when close to killing do Adv critical - imp head

What do you think about the spec ops carbine? I've had it slice and added on a damage power-up. Here are the stats:
Damage - 680-1180
My modified speed - 1.68
DPS - 548.43
SAC - 85

Any top end weapon crafted right can be nasty.
The best combo is the new scopes / stocks/ cells... (most people do not use stocks.. my stocks give + 30min +26 max and -.77speed.. this makes big differnce.. you will lose the great sac reduce from spawned stocks but with what I posted it is well worth it.)
The choice of which is yours... I would take HLR for 1 reason... they have elemental.. and while 40 is low... it adds to any damage from regular attack.(this is why jedi rock again... 700ish min and150ishelemenal = 850ish pvp dmg)
