Thread: Lessening Tensions?

Lately, except for some really dumb posts that MUST be responded to...just to flame the genious who posted it...it seems like the tensions between BH's and Jedi have gone way down. As BH, I get less hate tells than before and as Jedi I get no griefing...when I die I know it was a blind hunt with no malice. I see a lot of jedi go down then send 'congrads, well done!" tells, and respectfull bows to the failed BH.
Is it just me?

Well. Maybe it's because we mbh/smuggs don't win 90% of the time. So 90% of the time there is a happy Jedi. But yeah...I usually end up having a nice conversation with the Jedi after a fight. I don't mind not getting hate tells though.

I usually get strained but pleasant conversations after I kill the Jedi. We make small talk and everything, but I know that they really want to kill me.

I'm not saying that they get together and sing "Cumbahya", but it doesn't seem to be the same ferocity as before. Nice.

I agree 100%and I'm pretty happy with the change. Iplay to have fun. Being bitched and moaned at degrades my experience. I <3 jedi now. *Pulls out his guitar and forms a circle...*

When exactly were you "griefed" by a BH?

It is less, but there are still some jedi and some BHs thatare just crappy people not to mention how many there are of both...

That's because you're a poor sport... which is probably caused by deep-seated feelings of inadequacy, which in turn is likely the primary factor that has motivated you to become Jedi. A psychiatrist would have a field day with a case like yours.

Well now jedi get to group without increasing their visibility. There is such a thing as a full template jedi now, so those that have it lose nothing and enjoy when BHs come by so they can show off their skills. The full template jedi I know love BHs, because it is a very small chance the BH will win, and if they do, it won't be so quick that they think the BH cheated.
Maybe we've all united against our common enemy, the all-knowing never-posting devs?

Actually it is due to the lack of fairness in the current system. Consider this: When a BH kills a Jedi, the Jedi loses both combat rating, and XP, while a defeated BH loses only combat rating. The system should be balanced as there is nothing in place at the moment to keep BH from taking mission after mission on Jedi, even if they lose. Once BH lose XP and their master block for being defeated by a Jedi, then I will consider sending /grats to BH that win.
