I'm getting the crap kicked outta me when taking Jedi bounties, or any other PVP for that matter.

Master BH/Master Carbineer

Pistols 0/4/0/4

I recently gave up any medical abilities I had (bacta shot) for Pistoleer's root. That seems to have helped a bit, but still no luck.

I'm using knockdown shot, root, and disarming shot, advanced critical, and eye shot, at times. Maybe leg shot sometimes as well.

So, what's causing me to suck? Is it my weapon? Advanced E11 Carbine, damage 400-967, special ability 77, speed 2.4, DPS 314

Or does that carb class suck? Or is it the combination of the special attacks that I'm using? I average around 200-300 damage per hit, when I'm not missing, anyway. While they average 400-600 damage. I have armor as well. Shock Trooper armor.

I used to have that template and did pretty good for a while but it failed to really help me with higher end Jedi. Go get the proton carbine from the Ryatt Trail on Kash if you can. The mission is pretty easy. Its a kick as car and any master bh can use it. Make sure you armor is top knotch in the energy defense and a PSG wouldn't hurt. I also found a bandolier that adds 13 melee and ranged defense as well. Give the rifleman prof a chance too. I went from your template to master bh/master riifle/pistol 0404 and i've killed 6 jedi with this template so far. It has some pretty good shots.

also get some ruby blilel to help reduce the stim d reuse time. Get some brandy, dueterium pyro is pretty good too, vegisparsine for melee defense too. If you go rifleman try and get yourself a nullifier x rifle from the necrosis on kash. Not many people know about this rifle on my server, I've only seen one other person with one. does 1100 max dam and the dps is in the 400. i puped mine and now it does 1250 max dam. Even master defender jedi have a hard time killing me when i whack them with this gun. I used snipershot on a jedi with it and took almost half his health away. he said it scared the crap out of him lol.

Do you know the starting NPC for this quest. Or even what area of Kash It is in.

Its in the mydryll cave in the kkowir forest (sorry not sure on the spelling). Not real sure who the starting person is for the cave quests. I got both of mine by joining a group who went to kill the necro and they gave them to me. He only drops them at random times. If you can get one I highly recomend it.

I have the same template and I do pretty well. I usually pick marks in the 150k or less range because I am not too good at PvP. I use an E11 carbine too, but it is more in the 490DPS range with a SAC of 94, I also have a metal DL44 with over 500 DPS. For foods I typically use vasarian brandy, kiwik clusjo, blob candy, and maybe some won won, breath of heaven or ahrisa isnt bad either. I wear tantel armor with about 5k something energy on it. TBH though I never really pay attention to my foods or armor, although my armor is about to die, other than just using what I can find. I have some stim Ds on hand for a couple of heals if I need them. As far as specials I usually come in with charge shot, adv crit, then torso, then I start controlling, hit stopping shot, critical, eyeshot, confusion, then disarming, at this point they are trying to manage things and you can focus on your KDs, roots and hitting with critical. The main thing is to stay out of range as much as possible and keep track of your root snare timers. Controlling them is important as it will allow you to stay at a good range and keep you on the offensive.

Everytime I have won a fight vs a jedi I have only been hit 3 or 4 times. Everytime I have lost I have been cocky, going in with no food or spice, coming in close for the DB and getting whacked due to a short incap timer. The hardest thing about BH missions is preparing for the worst everytime. I went out this weekend and fought some 100k to 130k marks and it was fairly easy. Tried a 226k mark and got killed in about a minute. Went after a 110k mark and got killed because I was stupid and didnt prepare for it. You never know what kind of player you are up against. Prepare for them to run, prepare for them to fight, prepare to be KD'd, prepare for their friends to give them a ride. I really like this template and have debated going rifles or even going back to MP as I was before, but I am enjoying the carbines for now. I'm keeping my token repsec tucked away though for a rainy day. Well not tucked away as it pops up every 10 seconds, lol.
