Right now i have a M Swordman and just started on TKA, but i've been away for many months now, and i get the oppertunity to respec, so i wonder if i should respecc to BH, any thought about that? It would be cool to try to hunt Jedi's down..

if you respecc to BH, going after jedi from the getgo may not be the best idea.

go do a bunch of NPC missions to get a feel of how the mechanics work

i respecced BH, then i dumped it cos i didnt like it, now i am grinding up BH coz i want to do it the right way and appreciate it.

trust me, the grind is not fun, but i do enjoy the class more now.

I see, but BH is not a bad Profession?

And if i understanded you right, you respecced first to BH, and dropped it because then you didn't like it, and now you are respeccing to BH again, because you changed you mind, but this time you need to grind to be BH because you used up your one time respec or something right?

And yes i know, its not smart to go after jedi's right away, its just that the thought that i can hunt down jedi's after some practice, thats what i think is so cool with the BH. So do you think respeccing to BH is a good idea? because BH is not a bad Profession right?

BH is a great profession if you're a ranged fighter. BH/Melee doesn't work well anymore. Well, for PvP. I'm sure MBH/TKM or something would work PvE.

u have it correct. i hear that if you are planning on going against jedi MBH/MCM is the way to go with a splattering of others, pistoleer xxx4 works coz of the stopping shot.

i am going up this time for the pve hunts, i will probably hunt jedi from time to time but i doubt i will do much against them

BH is a good compliment to any ranged class for extra accuracy/speed/defense. (some big dogs might call you a Resepc N00b though)

heheh but anyway i think i'll go and respec to BH now, i really think i will like it so thanks for the adivces guys.

And one more thing, if anyone else are playing on the eclipse server, maybe we could group together some time, because right now i don't have anyone to play with, so that would have been nice.

LOL, I can't wait to hear the results of your first Jedi Mission after your "Respec" applies, if you last more than 1 minute I will give you a stone knife. Earn it like all the pre-respec BH's did, you will learn the class and be more effective in the process, I left forover 1.5 years, and I just came back, I was MBH pre-CU, and everything changed on me, but I knew my character inside and out, so after 2 weeks of being back I am pwing marks again got my first double chevron kill last night. I love people doing the flavor of the month, all that leads to is the nerf stick, I intentionally didn't do MBH/MCM just so I wouldn't be like every other BH out there. Learn your character, BH has become the n00b class of the year, just to hunt jedi.

The most pathetic thing I saw was a group of BH's going after a jedi with his mission 4 BH on 1 Jedi and he wiped the floor with them. I didn't see one of them attempt to root or KD the jedi, it was pathetic no strategy whatsoever, they didnt' even have any of the right foods.

Also don't ask me what droids to use to do a BH mission I grow tired of that question.

but the door swings both ways: i've seen jedi drop in 2 hits to a rifleman. and 3 to a pistoleer. There are new players in all professions. Respec or not

As far as I'm concerned, if you're good at BHing, who cares if you respec'ed?

One more thing, anyone have an ideas of what another good profession is to team up with BH? right now i have the prereq's for BH only and BH mastered, and as all know i got more skill points, so i wonder if you guys have any tips of which other good professions there is that i can use with BH?

Of course you should respec to BH. 75% of all the BH's today did it, so why shouldn't you? Dont even worry about not being able to play your template yet and fighting Jedi. All you have to do is take a low value mission. You'll probably get a lvl 65 Jedi that has Novice Sabres and Novice Defender. Respec to MBH/MCM/0004Pistols like every other FOTM BH. Get yourself a decent damage rifle. You'll knock em over left and right.

I'd say, "Best of luck to you!", but you won't need luck at all.

All the respec stuff is BS, I got bored Saturday night and used my respec to go from MRifles, MCM, carb 0440 to MBH MCM Rifles 4xxx.

Template is just a bit slower and less accurate, but has better defense, went out and did 2 missions that night. First jedi ran into cantina and wouldn't come out after I shot him up for a bit, second one I double incapped then got tired of chasing him around force cloaked. Both were level 80

I lasted more than 1 minute do I get a fancy stone knife

As for what to do with MBH there are a few popular options, Combat medic has a lot of healing, some nice dots and debuffs, paired with pistols you also get a root.

There are also a lot of MBH/MRifles and some CM for the healing.

Since you say you are not going to hunt jedi much (same here) just play what you think will be fun, you don't have to go for the uber jedi killing templates.
