Thread: Does this make sense?
I recently achieved training 2 in the ch profession, and the very first thing I did was to run out and buy a baby graul. I quickly grew very enamored of him - his high resistances andhis lovable charm proved to be just the combo I was looking for. Unfortunately, he recently hit level 30 (his adult level) and now I cannot call him! I only have taming 1, and whenever I try to call him it says "You lack the ability to tame this creature."
He was already tame! Not only that, but i had just been calling him for about a week straight with no difficulties. I quickly checked my other cl25+ pets (crimson razor cat) and I couldnt call them either, same message. I could only call creatures with a cl under my taming level! **edit**!!!
Can someone please explain to me whether thisis a bug (I already submitted a CS ticket 2 days ago, no answer) or if it was an intentional move by the devs. If so, can you tell me what their mentality was in making creature training the max adult level you can call, and creature TAMING the max CURRENT level you can call??? I need answers, this just isnt making sense.
there are 2 different vl levels. those you can tame(usualy higher) and those you can use(called pet max level)
your pet max level must not be high enough to call you higher pets. double check that to make sure of it. if you can call these oets then it is a bug
From the devs: you cannot call what you cannot tame
Do you know that I can sell a rancor as a baby to a novice CH with 0/0/0/0 and that novice can call him? But after a few days that couldn't happen anymore. When you get taming 2 you will be fine.
not true
a graul mauler requires 3/2, and regular graul requires 2/2
the reason he can't call them is not because they are aggro, even if they weren't a CL 26 CRC and a CL 30 graul could not be called with taming 1
I can understand why theymade it so you cant call what you can't tame. But why do they make it so that you can call it until they level up past yourtaming level? I could call him just fine until he reached adulthood. If I hadn't been able to call him as a baby, I wouldnt have spent the 25k to buy him. It basically tricked me into thinking I could use him.It still doesnt make sense to me. Either they should make it so you cant call the babies either, or make it so that training is the only level that affects it.
