Thread: Question about Stun/Dizzy

Hi All,
I'm a long timeMaster Smuggler I have 4400 Cm and 4400 Rifle, well at the time a couple days ago, anyway.I was dueling my BH friend that went pretty evenly, comsidering I have some great heals as a 4400 CM. Anywhoo, one time, he dropped me like third period French and whenI went to use my knockdown recoveryI couldn't get up. I wasn't sure if he dizzied me ormy KRwasn't working right, so we did it again, and he used the same shots while I went unarmed. I got stunned and could get right up. He said it did both. Is there any method to the madness of it stunningas opposed todizzy? Did he just hit the wrong button and used a dizzy shot on me?
I played with BH a little with the blue frogs on TC, but never enough to get all of the shots down or what they do and/or how they work.
Any info would help as Ilike to be prepared.

In my expereince, confusion shot can place multiple states on you with one shot. It's appears random. Many times none land.

you need action points to stand up, and your combat round must be open.

There is a bug involving certain shots used together with KD attacks that will give you a "you cannot KD recover while KDed" message and keep you on the floor.

Stun is a bit broken at the moment and only does -10 to accuracy and -10 to defence (there is a concept thread in the pistol forum if anyone has ideas of what this should do), what happened to you is you get KD'd while you had a move queued up.
You get the message "You cannot use Knockdown Recovery while Knocked Down" and it can take a few presses of the KD recovery to get up.
What you can do is use Stim D and Ruby Bliel to heal while KD, and set KD recovery as your default attack as that sometimes helps.
Even with all that, you can end up trapped in a KD until you are killed, it is a bug and coincidentally I have asked the Devs for an update on the fix for it a few hours ago.
I'll let you know if they get back to me.
