About time someone said it, actually.. it has been being said.
The developers KNOW all of this stuff... they know seekers dont work, they ''SAY'' its only there for adventure. okay. THEN TURN OFF XP IS IT THAT COMPLICATED!? YOU ARE A DEVELOPER! As far as loot goes, I don't care about that stuff right now. Me as a MBH get pretty mad when I get 20 jedi in a row that are on Kashyyyk grinding away, with no harm. FS is so easy grinding now, and they don't change it because they want more Jedi, XP is easy to get, because they want jedi.

Seriously, i would trade a whole planet of no bh'ing xp for creative content and sweet ass loot. I also really dont think it would be bad for jedi to have a place where they could play and didnt need need to look over their shoulder every two seconds.OMG andbe able togo afk in the open But no xp

Allright, i dreamed a dream that is kashyyk, and here it is, just read the whole thing pretty please.
The devs say that kashyyk doesnt allow seeker droids to work because they want it to be a quest and adventuring planet where jedi can experience some content with lower risk. Sweet, i can hang with that actually. When the people that vehemently hate that speak up, the dev answer is 'well jedi have to leave sometime.' Actually, they dont. Maintenance on houses is pulled directly from your bank account, theres a med center, a cantina, and anything else they might need right there in seeker droids suck land. Aside from that, anything else they may randomly need can be brought by a friend or a guildie or whatever, but theres no truly compelling motivation to leave for the determined grinder.Now that groupinggets rid of vis,the only reason to stay there andgrind is the advantage of droids not working. The grind is hard, thats a given, and everyopportunity to save xp will be jumped on understandably.
We want more loots, more unique loots, harder to get loots, legendary loots, all the loot we can get. There was a thread not long ago that got pretty long in peoples wants and ideas for loots (on kauri, but ive seen them on multiple servers). Its a given we want them. Now being the quest and adventuring planet that kash is supposed to be, why not just turn xp off and make it the straight adventure / loot place its touted as by the devs? Put in a bunch more quests, a variety of higher value / unique loot, and give us something to do with rewards being new and numerous. In the case of some things not even new. Like agro that drops quality slicing or weapon components, crystals worth getting again, and maybe just some fun decorative loot for creativity. Or maybe prof specific quests and rewards, something where everyone could participate with content specific to what they do. Switch up loot and add (and remove) quests periodically to allow some items to gain rarity and keep fresh content there and whatnot.
Anyway, people want what they dont have, so if they were to turn xp off and make kashahardcore adventure and quest planet for real, with quests for content and new useful and fun loots;it would still be a place worth going to despite no xp. With group vis not being an issue anymore it shouldnt be too big a deal. It would be a great opportunity to expand on general and prof content, plus cool rewards. It wouldnt impact grinding to the point where it would be pointless to go jedi, and it would remove our current bh frustrations with the place.
