Thread: Auto-reject ride offers???

I was fighting a jedi tonight, fairly high level because we had been going at it for 15 minutes. Then I start getting tons of "So and so offered you a ride" dialog boxes. Is there an auto reject for this like the group invite? I wasn't upset about losing, but I KNOW her force was running out. I don't think she asked them too, but they were guildies. This is an exploit in my opinion.
I will say that I have killed several 225k jedi since patch 20. I think BH were scared to take those missions. If you suprise the Jedi more than likely you will win. I'm definately more cautious now. I don't run in guns a blazing just because I need a quick 150k.
Anyway... may want to run a /rejectRide (if there is a command like that) macro.

Unfortunately, you will have to wait till the next patch. It's a cheap tactic used by both jedi and bh. So far, haven't seen anyone post a viable solution to it yet.

Yeah, next patch. Anyone that has a temporary TEF, or is in combat will not be able to get a ride. Also, you have to be the instigator to get a ride off of someone. Right now, the driver is the instigator to offer a ride to anyone.

Have you tried moving the popup window off to the side (off screen) before you refuse the ride offer? I did that with the respec pop up so the only button showing on it is the 'later' button. I'm sure it should work with the ride offer.

This reminds me of this one time when my guild wa hunting and 3 of our jedi got back to back bh after them.Well all the jedi in my guild were happy and having fun with it.Then two bh so happen to get one of the jedi missions this is post pub20,I wen to give the guld mate a ride and the bh had a name close to the guild mates and I offered him a ride and he accepted by mistake and I was half way to the village before I noticed and he was like were we going,I felt so bad I couldnt tell him what happend so I told him I was on my way to the village and he got out.
