Thread: Start grinding Invest 4

Okay almost done with invest 3...getting ready to start the grind to 4....currently getting about 450 or so Xp for every bounty...what is the XP after you train Invest 3? Is it the same, more? Just not looking forward to the 18,000 point grind...

i dont' remember how much exp it is, but its a long grind either way... good luck

Yeah, im on invest 2, and so far im doing horrible with the whole droid thing :-( Good luck

Did mine recently, think its about 500+ experience for each mission. Very slow going but VERY satisfying when you complete it!
I did the grind on each investigation - the memory of droids being eaten by space slugs has faded into insignificance!
Make sure you get buffed by entertainer to get your 10% xp bonus... not much more but it will save you a couple of missions in the long run.

I'm on 5000 of 18000 needed for investigation 4. Its a long one no doubt. No way I am quiting BH right now even if there are *ISSUES* I have to hope they will work to make it better very soon. Its just been a real GRIND to get this far. I'm not very good yet at the whole fighting thing but getting better so I dont go after the top marks right now. I'm usually getting mid to high 400 something or other BH XP per mark killed.
I must admit I have not done a great job of understand and getting buffed with food, drugs, whatever. Have taken some things I have picked up at vendors, etc but still dont fully have the gist of it. Last night at CL79 I couldnt get a CL84 down and he sent me to the cloning facility. LOL...
Grinding BH XP really gets frusrtating when the NPC missions are bugged. The last 6 or so I have done are I would say about 75% bugged in some way. Usually I never have that issue. Just bum luck this run of missions I guess.

If you are in a guild that raids PvP and PvE bases, then you could slice the uplink terminal for 1000 BH xp each.... 18 bases and you'll be done

Sorry to hear that...
What you should have done is not train invest 1 or 2 until you could knock both of them out...
Currently I have my BH XP capped at 10K and have not yet used a droid and all the marks have been on the same planet...
Tonite I am training in invest 1 and 2... and I will have 4000 XP already in 3...
Doing it this way saves a lot of time...

Where can I read more to understand slicing the uplink terminal for 1000 BH xp each. I am not aware of this functionality.

check out the stickies in the GCW forum. Basically, all you need to do is declare as a combatant and go into a PvE base and jam the uplink terminal. Just look around for the uplink terminal and there will be an option on the radial menu. You will be attacked by the NPCs so you need to either devise a plan for getting inside solo or bring some friends to distract the NPCs for you. You can do the same thing on Special Forces bases if you are special forces, but then you have to worry about vuln times, other players defending, and NPCs, possibly turrets, so if you run with a raiding group have at it. Also, you need to have Investigation 2 to jam the uplink.
