The following are a list of my first 100 accepted Bounty Hunter missions since Publish 20. I hope the devs can take a look at these. Statistics are at the bottom for what a Bounty Hunter can expect when attempting to hunt jedi.

TOTALS

Full Template Jedi:15

Non-Full Template Jedi: 3

Jedi is on Kash: 10

Jedi is in House: 8

Offline: 64

========================================

INFERENCES FROM TOTALS

1) 64% of missions accepted will be offline Jedi. These targets you cannot engage

2) 18% of missions accepted will be Jedi camped in a house or hiding in Kash. These targets you will unlikely engage, event after putting much time towards the hunt.

3) 18% of missions accepted will be Jedi that you can engage.

4) 84% (#3) of Jedi that you can engage will be full template Jedi

5) 17% (#3) of Jedi that you can enegage will be non-full template Jedi.

============================================

These totals are a random sample of what it is like to be a Bounty Hunter post publish 20. Devs please take note and do what you can to improve the Bounty Hunter profession. To enjoy the profession currently the Bounty Hunter must enjoy spending a vast majority of time finding missions, while the Bounty Hunter must favor hunting full template jedi over non-full template jedi. Is this the vision from the development team for Bounty Hunters? If so, I understand. If not, I ask for quick improvements. I appreciate any feedback from the Devs. Thank you

Excellent job gathering these statistics.

I heard a fix for the offline bug was currently being tested and would be put on live with the next hotfix (it was in a recent post by Blixtev). I will remove the 64% of offline missions (which is currently the main problem).

Publish 21 should fix the broken line of sight in the Rryatt Trail, which will make Kashyyyk a little bit less a safe haven (just a little bit, because we still have no way to find our mark, except searching manually) and therefore should reduce a bit the percentage of marks on Kashyyyk.

how did you recognize the jedi that were full template? Or doest full template here mean they beat you and non-full template that you beat them?

Full Template means that when I get to my Mark, and if they engage, its a 2 hour fight ending in Force Run being used cause I just wore down the Mind or Force of the Jedi and now instead of dying honorable, he runs like he's trying out for the Track team.

1.) Reduce Force costs, they are ridiculously too low.

2.) Make Jedi have to Sit/Meditate to regen force.

3.) LOWER THE REGEN RATE ON FORCE!!

From experience, a master defender jedi can stand there while being attacked by a MBH, not attack back, and hit Force heal with Stim combo and Force Infusion running, and actually REGEN force faster then he is using it. Due to this, I had a 2 hour 30 minute fight with a jedi who finally LET me death blow him because he could not beat me either and was sick of fighting and wanted to get back to playing with his friends. Now thats sad.

I use a Max Dmg 1063 carbine with 51 Sac cost after Pup and and 12% speed slice and can spam specials ALL day. So it's not like im not dishing out the dmg. This is not working as intended if you ask me. No

Probably gonna get 'flamed' to yonkers and back but... Just to point out. You can't make inferences from those totals You said those are your first 100 missions since Pub 20. However, you fail to mention at what times those were taken, what days, etc of when those were taken. For example, I can go into Walmart at 9:00 p.m. 100 days in a row and see all the shelves empty and infer that walmart never has anything in there store. However, I didn't take into account that between say, 10:00pm and 2:00am the shelves are restocked. Thus which is why I never see anything on their shelves, because im not there when the goods are.

Not saying that the offline/online status isn't buged, i'm just saying infering those numbers from a limited set of data. A better test would be to do a simple random sampling along with a authoratative sampling, taking 100 missions a) at random times (simple random) b) at peak times (autoratative) and c) low peak times (autoratative).

If your numbers are true, then you would find no correlation between the time the samples are taken (simple and autoratative numberswould be about the same) and the numbers you gotandyou could more strongly infer the numbers that you got are true However, I'd be willing bet you find a correlation between the number of players and the offline/online/mission types (still not saying that it's bugged) i.e.fewer players, the truer your numbers are. And unless they clear the Jedi status one they go offline, I'd be willing to be you'll have the same problem after the problem SOE is talking about is fixed.

You have to be careful about assumption, cuz in the end it can make an a$$ out of you and 'umption'

1) Your wording doesnt make sense. If you think Force costs need to be increased, I am fine with that as long as Jedi get 0 mind and action costs on their moves. Force currently is meant to be the long-term limit, not a short time limit. Force decides how long the battle can go, not how long an individual skirmish can last.

2) Jedi have to sit to meditate. They will regen Force faster that way. Jedi have to be Enhancer xxx4 to do this.

3) Yeah. Right. Take your current mind regen rate and divide it by 10 and you have about the Force regen rate. Force is regenerating incredibly slowy. If a Jedi is able to regen Force faster he either has Enhancer xxx2 and can convert max health into Force (temporarily lowering his max health) or Enhancer xxx4 and can meditate. Bottom line is if a Jedi has a high Force regen he spent skill points to have it, which are way more valueable than foods / drinks / spices that you can use to increase your mind / action / health regen. If a Jedi spent skill points to have a higher Force regen, he doesnt have those skill points in offense, defense or healing, so find his weakness.

So in your above example the Master Defender is not able to regenerate Force faster than he is using it on heals (thats Healer, btw), unless he has said Enhancer skills. You do not know how Jedi works, so dont comment on how Jedi should be changed.

the point to his post isnt how many available jedi are online at any given time... its that offline jedi are showing up on the terminals period. therefore obstructing his hunting.

Many confused the patch notes to publish 20 as stating offline jedi will not be listed on the terminals. i read them correctly however, since i expected missions to be created while jedi were online, and left on the terminals once they signed off.

either way the Devs or dev ( blix) is looking into fixing the problem and removing offline jedi from the terms.

so i dont expect this to be a problem for much longer.

Agreed, same things happen to me everyday.. OFFLINE JEDI WILL NO LONGER SHOW UP ON THE TERMINAL... that was the point of the Pub as well as taking off names and $$ amounts to identify specific jedi which is fine by me.

Get the Offline Jedi OFF the terms.. kkty

Anyone else see the duality in this statement. Basically, since I didn't win Jedi should be NERFED!!!!

The counter list:

1. Increase mind costs for cm 4000 heals

2. Make BH's sit and meditate to heal mind

3. LOWER THE MIND AND ACTION REGEN RATES ON BH SPECIALS

Obviously
