Target your Jedi.
Tell your pet to follow him.
Use /detonate (your_droids_name_here_and_include_parenthesis) to detonate the droid when you want.

Unfortunatly this will only half work. You have to target your droid to use the /det command. Best way to handle this is it rename the droid. To do this you need to select its radial and choose Follow. A ? will appear over its head. Then type follow toaster. Do that same thing for 3 other commands. Each time you execute one a ! will appear over the droids head. After 4 different commands have been issued, your droid will be called toaster or whatever you typed as the 2nd name of the command. So if you did a befriend command and typed befriend toaster and that was the last of the 4, your droid will now be called (toaster). After you have it named you can do a /tar (toaster) and then issue the /det command to detonate it. So a macro might look like this:
/tar jediL33tdood;
/tellpet chase;
/tar (toaster);
/det;
/tar jediL33tdood;
That should target the jedi and make your droid chase him and detonate and then reselect the jedi back so you can shoot him or do whatever it is you do to kill them.

when you are testing them just find some cheapo ones because they can be very expensive. I was paying 50k a crate and got two crates for testing(5 to a crate). Im sure I could have found cheaper ones but I was impatient.

You do NOT have to target your droid to get the /detonate command to work if you add your droid's name in parenthesis () after the command. I've done this time and time and time and time again. I have a macro for it.

When yougive the detonation command, can the jedi then attack you and your droid? Or will he only be able to attack after being hurt by the droid?

I've done what you said about doing the four commands so the droid has a name but it doesn't seem to work. The /tar (bob) doesn't work at all when I try it and the droid won't follow stuff I target either. What am I doing wrong?

I think this is my macro, i'm not at home so i don't know for sure
/target ;
/tellpet (billy) follow; (follow or whatever the follow command you've programmed)
/pause 3;
/target (billy);
/detonate;
/target ;
I think this is the macro i use. It works pretty good cuz After telling my pet to detonate i auto go back to targetting the jedi. I put the pause three in there to give the droid time to get to the target. 3 seconds seems like a good timer but you may want to experiment with droids. When i get home i'll look up my actual macro and post it here. It works pretty good and I even use it against npcs form time to time.
I always open up with the bomb droid macro and then go straight into firing on the jedi. If you distract the jedi they won't even know the droid is coming and BOOM. just to scare a friend once i took his mission and when he was looking on the bazzar i sent one in and did pretty good damage to him. he was pissed off really bad but it was funny as hell.
