Thread: State of BH for Non-Jedi Hunters?

Hello, I've just recently come back to SWG (Left maybe a few weeks after CU) and was wondering how the BH profession is for those who don't hunt jedi? I have my token respec and was hoping to get an opinion on how PvE or just non-jedi hunting BHers like the BH profession. As of now im Master Pistoleer/Master Smuggler with some Commando and Carbineer and was looking for a change. Any suggestions for a primarily PvE MBH template? Thanks in advance.

It's been getting better - and it's about to get a LOT better for PvE BH.
Marks no longer stay stationary - they run again. And they're not the cheesy little level 34 mons we used to see after the CU - they are level 82 for me (a level 80 MBH). Even though they are still not too tough, they're no longer one-shot kills and they actually give decent xp.
Coming in Publish 21 there are a lot of nice improvements - high level MBH may get Tough or Boss mobs and the loot they drop is much better - high-end slicing tools and schematics for Bounty Hunter armor (now as good as Composite) are among the drops.
It's actually a pretty good time to be a BH.
