Thread: PSG's not blocking LS Damage?

I tested with a friend last night and it doesn't appear that PSG's are blocking damage from LS. I had another friend shoot me with a ranged weapon and it worked fine, but I saw no difference in damage reduction when testing against a Jedi.
Anyone else notice this or test this?

Working as intended...and tis time im not making fun of the devs 
PSGs only block ranegd attacks (and saber throw doesnt count)

Hey Thadeus, im loving that sweet armor you made for me!!! I had a 75% armor break slice done to all of it and im also ADKing it. Adding lots of AA's to it also. its gonna be pretty sick when i finish with it. The light jedi of tempest will soon suffer thanks to your awesome armor.

Umm I dont understand, I use a energy resist psg and it works fine aginist Sabers. What's the deal?

Even i amdit just lately (since pub 21)I've seen the green shield effect when those cheeky jedi have been tapping me with their glowly wands.

WellI know PSGs dont work against sabers, but why doesnt the combat log report how much damage it is reducing in ranged shots???
I really want to see how effective it actually is in combat, instead of just guessing based on energy resistance.
And can Wookiees wear BH armor?

its not working against sabers. your PSG is doing nothing to help you against jedi.
PSG's only work against RANGED energy attacks. lightsabers are melee. and force powers deal kinetic

My psg has 10 ranged accuracy, helps a bit
