Thread: Still not getting Jedi name with Identify Target!

Identify target ONLY works when you are within 500meters of your target, and your tracker drooid already lost track of him. This is usless and makes you waste TONS of time to fiond out the name. THE STUPID developers launched ANOTHER PUBLISH, and STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THIS. EXPEC T IT TO JUST add to the LONG list of broken things on this CRAPPY licensed game. (like being unable to log back in after didconnectiong, without reloading the whole game.)

Looks like all they did was change the name from "seek target" to "identify target" and didnt fix the bug that doesnt deliver the jedi name
It seems you have to be close to the jedi (around 1k ) before it will return a name, i have tried several times after landing at a starport that ranged from 5-8k away and all it did was update the waypoint, with no indication of "analyzing signature"

Same here. Ive got it once out of two dozen tries. Its extremely borked.
I've even tried Seekers that were created after Pub 21 thinking perhaps the converted seekers were borked..but that wasnt it.

the only time i haven't gotten a name was when i tracked first, and then attempted an identify.
otherwise, it has worked flawlessly, for me, on the few jedi missions i have hit.

What I hate is when I launch my "Identify Target" Seeker then 4 "Track" Seekers. The Indentify doesn't come up with a name and loses track of the target. So when you get closer and try to launch another one to get the name, you get:
"You are already tracking your target."
Great, now I have to wait for the other seekers to lose track before I can get a name?
