Some of the scout trapping would have been nice. Too bad they are worthless to use, and never land. That's my ideal BH, someone who plans ahead for every possible situation. Laying traps and luring the mark into a state of confusion.

I totally agree, i posted ideas like that 2 years ago lol. But instead we got 2 jedi publishes and basically no fixes or addons to existing professions other than Jedi. I really truly think they want us all to be Jedi. Starting to wonder why they just don't remove every profession but Jedi from the game as it seems they don't want any of the rest of us to have any value or to be desirable to play.

Last time i checked I am a solo profession that must take on his marks ALONE. This doesnt have a single thing to do with any other profession as BHs are not a group profession. Smuggler sucks against Jedi. I am a master carbineer too, guess what? It's a crowd control profession and it is still lacking what is needed to really take a full template Jedi on. One Jedi isnt a crowd, it is one opponent, I dont want aoe cc skills which is what a smuggler, a group profession, should have. BHs need single opponent posture controlling abilities, that isnt crowd control.
Please tell me which smuggler ability does an AOE, I've been dying to use it =P
You are asking for the end all be all profession, and since we jedi already have that you can't (joking joking)
Seriously though man, your asking for all professions abilities minus crafting and healing, and even that is covered by stims.

I've dealt with many different crowd control classes in many rpgs. Everquest, Ultima, Daoc. Crowd control abilities are not used against single opponents. Hence the name crowd control, the purpose to crowd control is to be able to take on one very difficult opponent at a time, allowing the group to focus on one rather than fight less efficiently against several. Jedi marks are single opponents, posture control and states are not crowd control hence why smugglers dont really get many of these types of skills.
Combat medics have a snare, a root, and several debuffs. The very things you need to take on a Jedi, hence the popularity of the bh/cm template. I guess you think cms are also treading on smuggler territory?
I personally chose carbineer to give me my bang for the buck. Snares, knockdowns, very good damage output. Now I will make my point one more time, either Bhs are tanks and should be able to stand toe to toe with their marks or we are supposed to kite and applie states and posture changes. Either way you go our skills are not sufficient to accomplish either goal.
I chose CM for the heals, so two of my 3 chosen professions are serving their intended purpose but the last one, BH is not 100% satisfactory and is seriously lacking. No fight against a single foe should last 90 mins, it should be over in 20 mins tops either in the Jedi's favor or the BHs. Right now typically it is either a very long fight that the BH usually loses in the end.
Oh and since you are being facetious, smugglers I said smugglers should have aoe crowd control skills, i didnt say they had them. Smuggler is also lacking the skills needed to accomplish their job. However smugglers are a group profession. BHs are a solo profession. How they are approached should be alot different.
