Hi guys, i was wondering if there were any master pistoleers and master bounty hunters out there that could tell me how they fair against jedi. I really like pistols but alot of people Are saying the damage output is way to low and i just wanted to know if you could take down jedi as a pistoleer.
Please dont flame me

I dont think Master Pistoleer is the way to go. Master Rifles is WAY BETTER. Trust me on this...I cant see how a Master Pistoleer could take down a full temp jedi. Their damage output is just way too low.

Of course you don't see how a MPistoleer could take down a full temp ... you're not Mpistoleer. Be a little more open-minded.
I am a Master Pistoleer, and have little troubles taking down full temps. It's actually fairly easy ... root/kd+quickdraw+Adv Crit, then re-apply states. Unlike riflemen, pistoleers can take a few swings of the saber if they happen to catch up to you.
But overall, its all in your own skill. You can't take a crappy fwg5/scatter and some roughed up recon armor and take a full temp ... it takes planning and strategy, which is where the fun is at for me. Over the past week, I've taken 11 full temp jedi, and lost to 2 full temps.

How about with a damage capped Scatter with 65 SAC ?
With +25 clothing i can see it doing quite well. Maybe with 4-x-x-x CM mixed in ![]()

You are great with rooting and crowd control however the damage is just not there. I was this temp pre curb. It rocked then but when I returned it did not do anything for me.

What do you mean reapply the states? What kind of pistol are you using?

i've got a damage/sac capped FWG5, and sliced to speed cap. +25 speed/acc/defense..which actually wasn't all that expensive to put together, since everyone thinks pistols suck arse.
after the PuP, my sac goes to 46 - giving me plenty of girth to pull out the quickdraw/Adv Crit combo, which puts out around 1k damage every 3 seconds - inbetween those 3 seconds, i can KD or Root, or apply states to hit harder.

i cant recall the name of the specials .. brain fart ... there's one that reduces target's defense and another that reduces their damage output.

Pistols is better than rifles, every rifleman I see runs out of action every time I see them fight, when every pistoleer with an SAC PUP never has his action go down.

I have been MP/MBH...MC/MBH...and working on MR/MBH now. So far I prefer pistols over carbs just cause of the kenetic damage of the fwg and highcap scatter. BUT...i got hit way to hard to often to stay MP. Thus me trying MR.
